Robert Gibbs told reporters that President Obama is not watching the results tonight. Politico reported:
Hours after urging reporters not to draw sweeping conclusions from Tuesday’s gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told POLITICO President Barack Obama wasn’t even keeping an eye on the results.
“He’s not watching returns,” Gibbs said.

In other news, Baghdad Bob Gibbs noted that Corzine was comfortably ahead in the NJ gov race and the Republicans were on the verge of conceding the Va gov race. Gibbs also noted that New York was parched from a continuing drought due to global warming.

league baseball history. As narrated by Keith Olberman.
I about broke ribs as Olberman was on at about 9:30 PM doing his
passable imitation of a loser spitting cobra talking about “9-12 ers”
and Glenn Beck.
In the interests of fairness...I tuned in MSNBC at 10PM and Androgenic
Rachel Maddow (sp?) did have the professionalism to report
that VA and NJ had gone to the Republican ticket.
Of course, I didn’t have the stomach to stay tuned to MSNBC for more
than about 5 minutes at a time.
We need to pray about tomorrow and the days ahead.
Methinks Zero and his fellow comrades might do something drastic to get away from the horror of this blatant REJECTION notice he has gotten tonight.
Clinton would have wagged the war or something.
We don’t know yet what Zero will do under this kind of REJECTION Stress.

He’s not only watching, he’s probably smoked half a dozen packs of cigs in between yelling at the tv (hence the throat/voice problem mentioned earlier). I can visualize Zero looking in the mirror and ranting on about all the fools out there that don’t recognize or acknowledge his genius and God-like qualities.
I’m sure his good buddy Hugo is advising him even as we speak about how to avoid any future embarrassment re: election loss.
