President Obama Shares Malia School Success Story (barf!)
YouTube ^ | 11-4-09

Posted on 11/04/2009 9:36:08 PM PST by Justaham

At a school in Madison, Wisconsin, President Obama tells of how his daughter Malia went from a 73 on a science test to a 95. She originally thought an 80 was considered "pretty well, but after regrouping and some perseverance, she earned the higher mark, prompting her to say, according to Obama, "I just like having knowldge."

(Or maybe thank goodness for affirmative action!)

He hasn’t said anything about her needing to learn Spanish like he told the rest of us we had to be sure our children did.

Zero’s daughters are such a burden for him...

Malia says “Mmmm mmmmmmm mmmmmmmmm, my Daddy’s Barack Hussein Obama! Someone please adopt me!!!”

Good God, this guy is like the parent who talks at every school committee meeting and mentions his kids each time, as in "I was talking to my daughter Malia the other day..." and the other parents groan.

His self-obssession knows no end, which of course makes him the perfect president for his followers.

Oh, please.

The Obama kids could write, "sh!t tastes good on toast," and still get straight A's.

Does anyone really think a teacher would have the gall to give them anything less than A's?

Wonder if it was a retake. If it was a retake, there was no excuse for making anything less than 100. That’s what I told my sons.

“Does anyone really think a teacher would have the gall to give them anything less than A’s?”

Well, obviously one gave her a 73. To be honest, at Sidwell, yes, a teacher would fail either one of those girls is that’s what she’d earned.

Families like the Obamas, who send their kids to these elite schools, have the means to provide whatever the kid needs to make up for any academic deficits.

I find it repugnant when parents brag about their children.

If you watch the video, you’ll see that it was not ungrammatical. Someone transcribed it ungrammatically.

I will take your word for it, then.

It's hard to have confidence in any so-called "elite school" these days given the fact that a coke-sniffing, stammering idiot like Obama is a "distinguished" graduate of such institutions.

Malia used to get bad grades, but then her dad became president and she started getting good grades; really, really good grades. The take-home lesson, kids, is that if you want to do better in school, get your parents elected as heads of state.

After watching the video, I am inclined to believe that Obama's entire story is a lie to garner affection or support.

There are many non-verbal cues here to suggest that he is lying.

First off, he has a very long pause before starting the story. It's evident that he may have been thinking the entire thing up before he started, and as he went along. There are many noteworthy pauses along the way.

I also see many instances of nose touching, lip contracting and eye touching as well throughout "the story," to also indicate that he is probably lying.

“I also see many instances ... to also indicate that he is probably lying.”

I can’t bear to watch him, so skipped the tape .. but lying and just making up the story would fit, especially any kid at that age saying how much they like learning, having knowledge. Gimme a break.

Watch from :56 - 1:00.

He starts with a nose touch, an eye touch and a lip contraction all while pausing and stammering.

And ALL of this happens right before the story begins.

These are very clear non-verbal cues that he is most likely telling a lie to get some type of support or interest.

And of course, doesn’t every eleven year old say she ‘loves knowledge’.

Barf is right.

The lies keep dripping from Mao’s mouth.

How can a child of the brightest genius on earth possibly get a 75 on a science test. What happened to her genes? She should be out of college by now.

Hey, this is Barry. He’s bragging about how he got his kids to do what they should. If only all Americans would be as fantastic parents to their kids as he is to his we wouldn’t have any problems, don’t you see?

It's a shame that Malia Barry doesn't know that "pretty good" would be appropriate here as opposed to "pretty well."

To be expected from someone who is not a native. Also, the verbiage "I like having knowledge" sounds a bit robotic for an American girl. Maybe something like, "daddy, I really like knowing things, or something equally less unnatural sounding.

Usually when a parent talks about their child's grades, they bring up how they did in school. They use themselves as an example. Barry did not do this. By failing to bring himself into the story, it's obvious that his average was 60 or less.

I really don't care about Malia's grades but since he brings it up, show us the proof Barry. While you're at it, show us your own grades. If you can't do this, then at least show us our absentee record.
America is tired of your BS.

Gore’s son went to his dad’s alma mater, St. Albans. Chelsea Clinton went to Sidwell-Friends where the Obama girls are now.

Both schools are so used to having kids of powerbrokers, (who, after all, are transiebts while the schools remain DC establishment) they remain pretty nonplussed and above treating the kids specially. If the kid fails they don’t give them A’s becaue of who dad is, and if they violate serious rules, they are bounced. You have to respect them for that.
