Demand a meeting with the board along with the other parents.

Pull your child out of the cesspool a.k.a. public education as quickly as humanly possible.

If this is public school the question becomes “why do you still have your child in public school?”

Marxist ideologues have made their way up the totem poles of faculy who train teachers, librarians, lawyers, political scientists and journalists. They’ve made these professions into armies of zombies who fear above all things religion, especially Christianity. Every parent who care about their kids need to speak up and write to the heads of their boards of education Bet the teacher is not offended by the promotion of homosexuality in her school. They love the word “diversity,” but are intolerant to the extreme and their definition of “tolerance” is a narrow one in their own image.

If the one teacher is known, then you attack her with her own device.

Santa Claus really WILL be here this year, as a cleverly disguised Satan cauls.

Circulate a petition accusing Miss Whatsername of being Satanic.

Cauls?
Membranes that cover a newborn's head, that if the eyes are open, sight is very cloudy and unclear.

I would decorate a tree and place it in the back of my pickup.

I would park across the street from the school, near closing on each Friday until Christmas..... or until the school changed their position.

I would stand in the back of my truck biding all that were within the sound of my voice, “Merry Christmas” and other such greetings. I would be very friendly and smile at all the folks that pass by.

Oh, one more thing.... I would make an anonymous call to the local media, so they too could come and enjoy my good mood.

I would have also checked my local laws before going out to have the fun.

Presumably this is a government school? I would start thinking of getting your kid out of there.
Limit the damage.

If there are houses along the way to school...call some friends in the neighborhood, everyone decorates a tree in their yard...people can see as they drive up to school.

Is this person Jewish, atheist, muslim?

You forgot one more group, hardcore fundemendalist Christians who believe it is a pagan practice.

The bottom line is that leftists, with their idiotic, misbegotten idea of "tyranny of the majority", have replaced it with a culturally destructive "tyranny of the minority".

That’s new for Lowe’s. In years past, they have avoided saying “Christmas.” There were actually complaints about them calling them “holiday trees” a couple of seasons ago and they rushed out “Christmas” signs. I guess you can’t complain if they are willing to correct the problem (though, it’s obscene that these stores’ whole year is made on Christmas sales and yet they have to be forced to acknowledge just what it is now).

One particularly troubling thing with Lowe’s and more and more stores is the fact that they rip the Christmas items out a couple of weeks before Christmas. I started seeing it last year and I know someone who works at Lowe’s who says they will be doing it again this year. Until recently, a good way to buy Christmas decorations was to wait for the after Christmas sales. There hardly are any stores that have them that late now. I could almost understand if the decorations weren’t selling and were taking up valuable space, but the Lowe’s in my area put them in an area that usually has junk in it the rest of the year.

Michaels rips their stuff out before the actual holiday (Halloween and Christmas), too.

Stop thinking about fighting and confrontation before you've calmly and reasonably spoken to the teacher.

That's not the way the game works. The teacher's identity will be withheld to protect them from "death threats" and violence. If the teacher's identity does become known, the press will instantly publish articles describing the "death threats" that the teacher recieved.

It's the left's way of stopping debate in a circumstance like this. The issue moves from an unreasonable position by the teacher and the school, which trounces on the rights, beliefs and enjoyment of the majority, to a cessation of all dialogue, where the teacher is now morphed into a victim.

It’ll preach ... and is more disturbing than being offended by Christmas

That's not the way the game works.

Yes, actually, it is, and it's not a game. It's called communicating, and not behaving like the loony leftists who scream "Victim!" first.

In the real world, when a teacher does something like this, real people aren't thinking about "the media" and such. They start by addressing the issue with the person AS a person.

All this hysterical running around and planning media psy-ops is what's killing this country. People hope to intimidate simply by doing things behind closed doors, as in this case. You begin by behaving like a normal human being, not someone who makes drama out of simple disagreements. Find out the situation, talk to the people involved.

Stop treating this kind of thing as a "game" and we may be able to make headway. It's getting the vapors from the get-go and taking the "lawyer up" approach over relatively unimportant things--and yes, sorry, Christmas trees in schools is a lot more important than most of the things that should be going on in schools--that's the problem with too many people these days.

You’ll resist this information, because it makes things difficult for you, but you ought to be asking yourself, is this the right school for us?

Should read “Christmas trees in schools is a lot LESS important than most of the things,” but you probably figured that out. Posting fatigue is an ugly thing.

Love it.

Teachers don’t get paid for holidays . It is a misconception many people have . They get contracted pay for the days of teacher “student contact” usually 183 + - days a year. Holidays are not considered student contact days .

Teachers also do not get unemployment income during the summer as many people believe.
