Rush was bordering on arrogant and condescending with his response, given that Raila Odinga's favorite cousin has stolen 1.7 million US taxpayer dollars to prevent society from seeing his birth data, school records and other historical information.
Who steals 1.7 million from the taxpayers for his own personal legal defense if there is nothing to hide?
Raila Odinga's cousin has A LOT to hide, and the fact that Rush was rude about this story really was irritating to me.
The guy lied to get on the air. He told Snerdley he wanted to talk about Hillary, but launched into Larry Sinclair instead.
I could tell Rush knew exactly what the guy was talking about, but he obviously doesn't want to get drug into the fringe conspiracy stuff.
It's his show.
And liars never prosper.
Wow. He’s truthfully never heard of either of these people? The thing that gets me is the pompous way he says it, like the caller is a fool for talking about two people that he (and I think he thinks that, by extension, nobody else) has ever heard of before. Granted, if the caller did lie to the screener about the purpose of his call, then that’s one thing, but still, I’m amazed that Rush claims to have never heard of these people. Makes me wonder how much else there is that we FReepers know, that Rush has no clue about.
Kind of a lame way to get out of it, though, don’t you think? If Rush actually did know about these people (and like I said, it would amaze me if he didn’t), then just say that, dismiss both of them as lacking any corroborating proof of their claims, scold the guy for lying to the screener, and it’s on to the next caller. Saying that you’ve never heard of them just makes you look uninformed — which is an impression that Rush would definitely not like to give to his listeners.
Good for him!
Every popular radio talkshow throughout recorded history has the same MO: drone on and on about one topic for the entire program and only answer calls from people who happen to be making the point the host was going to make anyway.
Rush Limbaugh is particularly good at this. His so-called "open Fridays" is the most misleading crock of bull manure on the air. He starts out every "open" Friday but suggesting a topic and then magical-mystery all of his callers happen to want to talk about that very subject.
That's about as open as a constipated ant!
You and Rush both need to remember that Raila Odinga's favorite cousin has stolen 1.7 million taxpayer dollars to finance his slimy legal defense team's ability to shield his birth data, school records and just about every damn document on this guy.
That 1.7 million dollar fact in itself is a story and a half, which doesn't allow much room for deniability from Rush, Odinga or you.
Why spend that kind of cash if he has nothing to hide?

Yeap, it was an open line Friday but the caller lied to the screener what to talk about. Absolutely he knows about it and even joked what God has in common with Obama.

Rush's success is based upon one thing, as he has said many times: He talks about things that interest him.
Evidently this issue doesn't interest him.
If you think he's wrong, maybe you should go into broadcasting. If what you have to say is more interesting than what Rush Limbaugh has to say you'll be bigger than him in no time.
But if people aren't interested in what you have to say, you're SOL.
Rush blew it - face it . Don’t put all the blame on the caller . If the caller had told the truth about what he wanted to talk about he’d never have gotten on the air in the first place . This says a lot about Rush and his program . Manning has got all these prima donnas pegged bigtime .

Rush was a long legged mack daddy on that call. He does a lot of good though without delving into the trinity murders and certifigate.

If Rush “knew exactly what the guy was talking about” and Rush denied such knowledge, one might conclude that Rush lied too and since “liars never prosper”, Rush will never prosper.
I heard all this too and I don’t believe it speaks well of Rush if he didn’t know what the guy was talking about or if he did know and denied it.

Don’t put all the blame on the caller? If I were Rush I'd hang up on the guy, period. And if I'd be Snerdley I'll not put the caller through if he didn't lie. Not because talk radio hosts don't want to talk about but the whole Clear Channel will be put on jeopardy by 0bama's FCC czar Mark Lloyd, et.al. Think about that!
I would bet my entire 401K plan that his listeners by the THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS have e-mailed him about both Berg and Sinclair. I certainly have sent my share of e-mails to him.

Whether or not it is wise for him to cover the issue is a red herring. The fact is, Manning is absolutely correct to question Rush’s honest with that caller.
