For people who think you might be exaggerating they need to look at history. There have been civilizations that were brilliant and around for hundreds of years but have fallen, and fallen FAST.

I remember learning all about the Mayans in high school, and how brilliant they were with astronomy, math, and art etc, and overnight after several hundred years...POOF gone.

It happened with other cultures as well. We are not above destruction.

You are exactly right - our Republic, although constructed by brilliant men, was built by men and is therefore is fragile. Never before has a government of a free people so imposed itself on its citizenry.

The Devil’s minions appear to be winning. Neverhteless, I still have Faith against the tide. God save the USA — the last best hope for a world of peace and prosperity.

General Tax Revolt.

We've tried the letters, phone calls, town halls (and cute coffee clatch mass demonstrations--which they did not listen to--that were almost 1/2 lobbying but 1/2 partying.)

They cannot INITIATE Socialism it if they cannot FUND it. For that to succeed, they need the total cooperation and submission of the productive part of society, the bedrock of taxpayers. John Galt has to be part and parcel of this government largesse for it to even come into fruition. I would say, that is where we have them by the privates.

Conscientious objector status for some taxpayers on religious grounds, due to abortion funding mechanisms, could also be an additional civil rights route to take. The system can be tipped to fall over.

Well, my rep. voted for this karp, which didn’t surprise me. His office wouldn’t even answer the phone and the email was set so that emails were undeliverable. Guess he didn’t want to know our opinions regarding this alleged health care reform.

That’s ok. When he comes up for re-election, I will make sure that everyone in this district is reminded of his treachery and his complete disregard for his employers, the voters. If, as I was always taught, we voters are the employers and the Congresspeople work for us, then we can certainly fire them when they are insubordinate.

I can’t wait for all of these losers to be fired. After that, maybe they’ll actually have to work in the real world. And of course, they will enjoy the same “benefits” as the rest of us.
