Gawd, I can't take much more of this.

I wish he would just say "I'm Jesus Christ and I am here to save you". and be done with it so we don't have to navigate through all the B.S. every day.

Allen said a cost-of-living adjustment "may not be viewed traditionally as a job saved, but one could interpret it that, by providing COLA, you're retaining staff."

These gov't leaches torque me off. Are they having a problem retaining their staff? I'm sure that if they were to lose a single staff member they would receive stacks of applications in a day or two. Manufacturing is circling the bowl, unemployment is over 10% and the looters have raised our taxes yet again to feather their own beds.

At Southwest Georgia Community Action Council, director Myrtis Mulkey-Ndawula said she followed the guidelines the Obama administration provided. She said she multiplied the 508 employees by 1.84 -- the percentage pay raise they received -- and came up with 935 jobs saved.

What an idiot! She heads an agency of 508 people and she doesn't understand the concept of a percentage. The reporter just glossed right over this as well.

508 x 1.84% = 9.35 Not 935.

All 300 employees of the company I work for had to take a 5% pay CUT this year - using obamalogic that would be 300 jobs lost.

Actually, if we use the same calculation method used by the lady in the article: 300 x 5% = 1500 lost jobs!!!
