A prominent Columbia black prof smacked a female colleague in the face during a “white privelege” discussion.
A prominent Columbia architecture professor punched a female university employee in the face at a Harlem bar during a heated argument about race relations, cops said yesterday.
Police busted Lionel McIntyre, 59, for assault yesterday after his bruised victim, Camille Davis, filed charges.
McIntyre and Davis, who works as a production manager in the school’s theater department, are both regulars at Toast, a popular university bar on Broadway and 125th Street, sources said.
The professor, who is black, had been engaged in a fiery discussion about “white privilege” with Davis, who is white, and another male regular, who is also white, Friday night at 10:30 when fists started flying, patrons said.

the number of WHITES making under $20k per year is about 59m, or about 27% of the white population.
the number of blacks? 11m, or about 29% of the black population.
that's pretty close to even... while also showing the number of poor whites dwarfing the TOTAL number of blacks.

The university will point out that the altercation did not take place on campus. Therefore it will refuse to do anything about him. Of course with a person of white privilege in the same situation, the University would initiate post-tenure review.

On to the topic... As a man, husband, and father I cannot see at anytime in my life when I have ever hit a woman. Never!
We were raised to be men. We love, honor and respect the women in our life. We are also taught (Catholic faith) to treat each other with respect and compassion. Although I love a good debate, and boy howdy that would have been a zinger, it would never enter my mind to ever strike out at any woman I might disagree with during an argument.

So did my wife through her mother. Funny though, she's not encountered another alcoholic (that she's aware of). I'd dispute those odds as you put them. Oh, and she has no problem with my drinking alcohol. She knows I have no unnatural affinity toward it. She herself has wine at dinner.
I have been around many men when they were drinking. I have noticed that booze only removes a person’s inhibitions. If you want to really know a person, watch him when he is drinking. A sorry sob will show what he really is.
