Here is video of Carrie PreJean on Larry King Live last night where there was a really bizarre exchange between PreJean and King. King asked PreJean why she agreed to settle out of court in a lawsuit against the Pageant that fired her. PreJean said she could not talk about the terms of the settlement because it was a confidential agreement. King persisted in asking "why" she settled, not about the terms of the settlement.
PreJean then told King he was being "inappropriate," and that she could not talk about the settlement.
King moved on and took a call but as he did PreJean began talking to someone off set and then started unhooking her microphone. But bizarrely, she did not immediately leave. She stayed there and kept talking to someone off set, and even talked to King but without a microphone. . . . (VIDEO)

maybe she was polling her implants to stay or leave.
Good for her. Larry thought he would bully her with the usual anti-Christian bashing and she did not let him do it. Good. The game of life - sometimes the way to win is to reject the terms of the game.
Gays run these pageants; what did she expect to happen to her? I certainly don't think it necessitated a book deal.
Pay close attention: Miss America is a *public figure*. That, in fact, is the whole point of the pageant - to make the winner a public figure.
So, even though she didn’t win the big contest, she still won her state contest and became a public figure.
I’m curious - if I said Janine Garofalo wasn’t ready for prime time, would you object? I’d guess not, because you don’t like her. But there really is no difference between these two people from a public figure standpoint. Both have celebrity, albeit for slightly different reasons.
I have no idea why you assume someone has to be a politician in order to be ready/not ready for prime time. I’m looking at it from a straight public figure standpoint. Look at the nickname for the SNL crew - the “Not Ready for Prime Time Players”
I respect Prejean’s beliefs and think she’s hot as hell, but I don’t find her to be the best representative for conservative viewpoints. In fact, she’s often quite embarrassing to the cause - this awkward case serving as a fine example.
Also embarrassing to the Conservative cause was Sarah Palin bringing her pregnant daughter & her daughter's lover onto the national stage. Just by bringing the two of them onto the stage, it condoned what they did, and tried to NORMALIZE the situation. And McCain embracing Levi Johnston!
I also think Hannity is getting *taken in* by Carrie Prejean. The worst is yet to come.
She is a hypocrite. She needs to practice what she preach. When she is called on it, she clams up. Don’t let the door hit her on the way out.
Finally!
the voice of reason!
I really think carrie is a phony...she said that about the marriage and then took off with her own 15 minutes ( now into eternity) wanting to become famous. I am not buying how pure and innocent she is, but makes out to be so “sweet”...
“she doth protest too much..”
Her image is really confusing...Hot babe doing naughty movies one minute, pure Christian ‘victimized’ girl the next. And the worst is ...she is BORING.
Hey, chieftain...another St Ashley...
All she was “preaching” was that marriage is between a man and a woman. Do you know sommthing I don’t know? Is she planning on marrying a woman?????
Sorry...don’t agree withy your disdain for her nor your logic but feel free.
I am fond of her and her opinion.
She's just a dumb blonde... not a 'crack ho' like Saint Trashley.
He has been brain dead for years.
“Okay, that was just bizarre. He moved on to a caller that, IMO, asked a legitimate question. She was being stubborn.”
He moved on to a plant probably calling from inside the studio as King said himself “The inappropriate continues”. A so called gay caller. That was enough for me to support her removing her mic.
But she removed it before that call came in. She didn't even hear the question. But yes ... it was a planted call.

But she removed it before that call came in. She didn’t even hear the question. But yes ... it was a planted call.
She didn’t have to hear the question. She already knew that the interview was a hit job by that time.
1) Larry didn’t welcome her to the show.
2) He continued to ask a question that he knew she could not entertain.
3) The plant phone call in the waiting. She began removing her mic right when the caller said gay but her mind was made up instantly prior to the caller saying “gay” because her instincts or the person in the room with her told her to cut him off.
