That’s an interesting interpretation they “took” from WKA. As we know, WKA stated someone born in the country, to alien parents was a “citizen.” They didn’t say he was a “Natural Born” citizen. Would love to see what SCOTUS has to say about that...IF it ever gets to them.
Technically, Wong Kim Ark didn't rule on whether Ark was a natural born citizen, only on whether he was a citizen; everything else in the opinion is dicta. But they do discuss Blackstone and state that, at the time of the ratification of the Constitution, "natural born citizen" was undertood to mean anyone born in the U.S. regardless of parentage.
Would love to see what SCOTUS has to say about that...IF it ever gets to them.
I doubt it will ever get to them-- they have turned down 6 or 7 eligibility cases already, without a single recorded dissent. But if it does get to them, I think they will agree with the Indiana court.
Obama's non-citizen father was hardly a secret-- he admitted it in his autobiography. But during the campaign, not one of his primary opponents claimed he was ineligible; McCain and Palin didn't say he was ineligible; not one conservative lawyer ever wrote an op-ed piece saying he was ineligible; no member of the elctoral college said he was ineligible; not one member of Congress objected to the certification of the electoral votes; and Chief Justice Roberts swore him in. The Supreme Court is not going to find him ineligible now.
Did WKA declare the child born in country to foreign parents a Natural Born Citizen?
"It thus clearly appears that by the law of England for the last three centuries, beginning before the settlement of this country, and continuing to the present day, aliens, while residing in the dominions possessed by the crown of England, were within the allegiance, the obedience, the faith or loyalty, the protection, the power, and the jurisdiction of the English sovereign; and therefore every child born in England of alien parents was a natural-born subject, unless the child of an ambassador or other diplomatic agent of a foreign state, or of an alien enemy in hostile occupation of the place where the child was born.
"The same rule was in force in all the English colonies upon this continent down to the time of the Declaration of Independence, and in the United States afterwards, and continued to prevail under the constitution as originally established."
In other words (& in short)...WKA did NOT find him a Natural Born Citizen (& you know it).
Where can I find a record of really how much Obama has spent? Someone keeps using this as an argument..implying that we are lying...where do I find the proof?
Sinclair sounds so “innocent” like he was dragged to California. If he was so eager to stay clear of Orly, why then did he go to “work” with her in the first place, money???
Yep!!!
http://www.youtube.com/user/InspectorSmith
He posted repeatedly on the above referenced website, in an informal manner, about his dissatisfaction with Orly's performance well before he submitted his formal declaration regarding her to Judge Carter. I believe he gave the matter a lot of serious consideration before submitting his declaration.
Lucas and Orly were not able to work together and there was no mutual respect between them, as can easily be seen from his declaration. I believe Lucas was afraid that Orly would not allow him to testify in court regarding the CPGH Kenyan Birth Certificate because of her animosity towards him. He desperately wishes his document to be accepted as authentic for reasons I believe are based on financial (initial) and patriotic (more so in recent months) considerations.
I don't think any of Obama's thugs have gotten to Lucas yet.
I do fear for his safety!
You're acting like I'm trying to hide that point. I said, back in post #92, that, "technically, Wong Kim Ark didn't rule on whether Ark was a natural born citizen, only on whether he was a citizen; everything else in the opinion is dicta."
There is, I believe, no single case in any American court (until this week's Indiana case) that ever directly litigated whether someone was a Natural Born Citizen for purposes of being eligible to the presidency. But the fact remains that Wong Kim Ark has a long discussion of this issue, and states (in dicta, of course) that anyone born on U.S. soil is a a natural born citizen, even if both their parents are aliens.
Do you have a screen shot of that???
I think so too, and with these two guys you always have to “follow the money”, hmmmm...hmmmm...hmmmm!!!
Including the other two branches!!!
I did NOT see any signature, hmmmm...hmmmm...hmmmm!!!
Are you able to produce any better attorney for this political scam???
Larry Sinclair bump.
So what’s your point?
Do you think it is a nut to uphold and defend the Constitution???
And,...just follow the money!!!
A signature is the point!!!
