"There could be as much ice on the moon as in all of Lake Erie," When NASA's Lunar Crater Observing and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) mission crashed into Cabeus Crater on the moon's south pole, October 9th, the team did find water in the form of, "Ice as we know it," according to multiple sources within the agency. "It will change the way we think about the moon. It is something we want to share with the world."

Now lets get back there. However, if it’s either Mars or moon, I’d say push on to Mars. If possible to do both, then great. If not, lets focus on Mars.
Hey, wait: I read an article on this forum last night that announced they found no water of any kind. What’s up with this? Did they invent water to keep their own tap flowing? What’s the truth?

I have been wondering what the results were from the “LCROSS” mission. Since we hadn’t heard anything back from it, I assumed no ice was found.
I wonder if Ice formed in space would be consumable, even after decontamination/purification. Who knows what could be in it that we have no clue about.

Pardon my stupidity, but why didn’t anybody find lunar water during the Apollo project?
The lunar surface (down to the levels the astronauts could dig) was bone dry. Water was detectable in some samples brought back for studies.
Ice is fine but I ain’t making travel plans until they find vodka.
That does not sound like that much when you consider how big the moon is.

No One ... anywhere on Earth -- from the most psyched amateur to the professionals at the largest terrestrial observatories, even to the Hubble Space Telescope itself in close Earth orbit -- none of these folks or instruments saw ANYTHING actually hit the surface of the south pole of the Moon!
Instead, despite literally millions of Americans eagerly watching ... straining to see something ... in reality, the only "direct observer" of this entire, over-hyped NASA affair, was--
NASA!
Yea, Big deal.
There are far more important issues at hand, like welfare for the poor and unfortunate....And Africa.
Come on man, Get with the picture.
