NOTE: Has anyone ever heard of a new government official being identified as a devout Catholic, a devout Jew or a devout Protestant...?
Just wondering...
In light of what happened at Fort Hood, I wonder how much vetting these appointees went through.

Just what we need is a freaking muslim foreigner in national security position.
Wonder how their name came up as a candidate?
That could be a beautiful thing. Depends how you read it...
I agree. When our military can’t even raise questions about anti American activity by one of it’s own “MUSLIM” officers, who just happened to “go off” on 43 Americans, killing 13, shouting Allah Akbar..........
HOW CAN A MUSLIM FOREIGNER BE POSSIBLY VETTED PROPERLY FOR A POSITION IN NATIONAL SECURITY?????
I suspect much has been overlooked out of fear of criticism.
This is NATIONAL SECURITY!!! Any contact with any Muslim/ Mosque who calls for death, jihad, or whatever is a DISQUALIFICATION.
PERIOD!
So is this a job Americans won’t do, and requires an immigrunt?
“Our diversity is our strength....”
SPIT!
“”Alikhan was an embarrassment even to the Mexican Reconquista mayor of Los Angeles.””
Can you explain? Everything I find is so “flowery” about this guy, it sounds as tho’ he really did a super job for Los Angeles. He knew how to handle grant $$$ (WOW) and demolished the anti-terror measures in the city because they offended muslims and Bratton went along with that.
He fits in with the zero administration - supporter of Hezbollah, anti Israel, will improve image problems of the US with muslim countries. Gosh! I guess that’s what he went to law school for. Can never have enough muslims in the government.
I wonder what role he may have in the Homeland Security investigation of the Fort Hood shootings!! Sick! Sick! Sick!
I want to know how this guy slipped through the radar without causing a blip.....All of us at FR stay pretty current on DC happenings but I never heard of this guy before today.
Over here....
True story from just last night.
I walked into a Taco Bell to get a quick bite while traveling.
There was probably 6 to 8 employees behind the counter. All were in Taco Bell uniforms, shirts and hats.
With ONE exception.
Behind the counter was a woman with a head scarf, and a muslim style dress, working.
I would say the Taco Bell Dog is rolling over in his grave.
Trading in the Sombrerro for a head scarf is kind of out of uniform.
Point?
Any time a Muslim comes into any position, they require compliance with THEIR beliefs at the expense of the rest of the employees. It was probably a situation where the manager was afraid NOT to hire out of fear of some kind of discrimination charge. On the other hand, if the potential employee will not comply with work rules, I say that is grounds for dismissal. Nothing is fair for the rest of the employees who wear the uniform of their job.
Point?
When a Muslim gets in a position of any type of power, they FORCE change based on their philosophy at the expense of others. So how do we resist? Just flat out say no. Tough crap. We don’t have to take it up the ying yang to comply just because someone thinks they are superior, when in fact they are just another human with no more rights than the next. If I worked there and wore a big cross around my neck do you think management would be equally tolerant to my “traditional” attire?
devout?
LOLOL
PC run amuck.
Amazing. The main reason the DHS is in existence today is because of what the moslem terrorists did to us. Now to put fellow brothers of their religion, within the DHS, is definitely asinine, imo.

“Press Release: After Ten Years of Service, ADC Congratulates Kareem Shora for Appointment as DHS Senior Policy Adviser”
SNIPPET: “Washington, DC | October 15, 2009 | www.adc.org | The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination (ADC) offers its most heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Kareem Shora, ADC National Executive Director, for his ten years of exceptional service to ADC and to the Arab-American community. Shora, who earlier this year was sworn-in by Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano as a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC), has been appointed as Senior Policy Adviser for the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and will be leaving ADC as of October 23. ADC congratulates Kareem on his new position, wishes him the very best, and knows he will continue to be successful in the future.
ADC President Mary Rose Oakar said, “Without question, in the past decade Kareem helped our dedicated national board, staff, and grassroots chapters build ADC into one of the most effective and respected civil rights organizations in the country. Especially following 9/11, Kareem’s strategic leadership approach and ability at building partnerships and coalitions both with other organizations and communities as well as with federal agencies, gave ADC an edge in standing up as a strong and consistent voice for civil and human rights. Personally, I will miss his wise counsel, calm demeanor, and sense of dedication and responsibility. Thank you Kareem for your outstanding leadership and commitment to ADC and the community. Kareem’s appointment as Senior Policy Adviser with DHS is yet another feather in ADC’s cap of ever-growing achievements and success.”
Kareem Shora said, “I am honored to have served the noble cause of such a great organization as ADC. Everyday, for the past ten years, I saw the increased effectiveness of ADC thanks to its dedicated team of staff, board members, and volunteer grassroots leaders. It is an organization that each American should be proud of as it stands up for the very-definitions which have made this country so great. While we have achieved many victories during my tenure with ADC, we continue to face many more challenges that require our collective support for ADC and its great work. Although I am leaving ADC, I will maintain my involvement with the organization in my personal capacity and hope to use the knowledge and experience I gained over the past decade in my new role with the Department of Homeland Security.””
