Mariah Carey - O Holy Night

I'm with you. I don't even like Mariah Carey, but when she hits those high notes, it gives me goose-bumps.

Now I'm going to have to dig it out and play it.

Best (or at least a sentimental favorite from childhood) is actually Jim Nabors. That's the first recording I remember and it has been my favorite ever since. The guy has pipes.

Trans Siberian Orchestra’s Ghost of Christmas Past. I play it every Christmas, and at other times when I want a moving experience. Might play it tonight.

David Phelps performed this piece with such devotion to our Lord. Chills. Praise. He also sang “It Is Well With My Soul” and it was beautiful.

I tired to listen, but couldn’t - Mariah Carey makes it all about her. It sounds like she’s singing it to a brothel customer, not a church.

And another incredible performance ... Celtic Woman. Angelic, to say the least.

This is a nice version. For some who can tolerate it anyway, whoever that may be.
