Jaime Hyneman, left, and Adam Savage, right, co-host of the television program 'MythBusters', take their seat before the start of the program with President Barack Obama at the Executive Office Building in the White House complex, in Washington, Monday, Nov. 23, 2009. Obama spoke about several initiatives designed to boost science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education.

For our next show, lets bust the myth that this Obama is all that....

Why promote this if there aren’t any jobs in this area?????
How about promoting jobs!!!!!!!

Dipshi& knows of course that this kind of innovative and creative thinking will be all but null and void when/if his plan for all out socialism occurs. Incentive, drive, initiative and will to succeed will be stamped out with government controlled salaries.

My son is about to earn his BS in Mechanical Engineering, but will there be any job for him to do?
I on the other hand got my first computer job with almost no formal training. There was a strong demand, and I could do the job, and that’s all that mattered.
The economy comes first, second, and third, and necessary education and training will take care of itself.

PS to Las Vegas Dave, I am glad to report that Jaime and Adam are not, not, not homosexuals! Ew!
Pretty sure they both have wives and kids. And these two do some really manly stuff on the show. The Gaydar does not go off when I watch the show. And I’ve seen it for many years. These guys shoot all kinds of weapons, use explosives, do all kinds of stuff a fluff would never be interested in.

For what it's worth, from Wikipedia:
Savage and his wife Julia were married in 2003. He has twin sons from a previous relationship.[10] He wears a hearing aid on his left ear due to a congenital condition.[11] Savage has also contributed nearly $5000 to Barack Obama's presidential campaign.

The jobs are going to India, where they can pay for TWO employees with benefits for the price of one salaried employee.
Until he stops the offshoring of tech jobs (where the work is smuggled in via internet without taxes on the million dollar software), it’ll be cost ineffective for a student to buy (money and time) a science degree. It’s a bad investment in one’s future.
