ABC’s Jordyn Phelps reports:
President Obama may have a thing or two to learn from Tiger Woods’ golf game, according to an upcoming article in the January edition of Golf Digest.
But In light of the recent controversy surrounding Tiger Woods’ car crash, there are likely more ways in which the President may wish to distinguish himself from the golf star.
The article lists ten things that the President could learn from the ultra-successful golf star in improving his performance as president, and vice versa, from the perspective of several prominent writers and players.
The magazine cover is a photoshopped image of Tiger Woods in a caddy’s outfit posed behind President Obama as he judges a putt.
Golf Digest’s Steve Rusbin draws comparisons between the two prominent figures.
Both are at the top of their respective fields -- Obama is the leader of the country and Woods is arguably the best athlete of his era. Both are the world’s most “prominent, multiethnic, African-Americans.” And both have hired an “older guy with impulse-control issues” to serve as their right-hand men -- Obama with Vice President Joe Biden and Woods with caddy Steve Williams.

His life and words were so perfectly controlled,
that side of him was totally concealed.
His real ugly underbelly has been exposed. No
more golden boy.
And in his statement:
NO true humility .. NO mention of the years his
dear Dad spent training him to be an upstanding
adult and professional .. NO expression of emotion
or real empathy for the deep hurt he caused his
wife AND devoted mother ... all professionally-
crafted PR spin from his team .. and the utter
HUBRIS in the bottom line impression of the
statement:
my business is my business ‘cause I’m Tiger Woods,
I’m king of the world, so get the *ell out of my way
and don’t you dare ask me anything about MY life.
Truly really ugly .. there’s now no denying that
he was just another rich, spoiled athlete .. and
we thought he was so special.
Are there ANY upstanding and decent successful
professional athlete role models left for kids ?

The thing that I find so horrible is that all of those women he fooled around with could have had whatever disgusting disease and he felt he had the right to bring that home to his wife. Probably never gave it a thought.
It’s the real cover of the Jan issue obviously printed before the current scandal. Sometimes real life is beyond parody.

I am hapy to tell you that Mike 'Fluff' Cowan has been appointed as Obama's official Blackberry caddy.
Then along came the flap about the security of Barry's Blackberry.
Gibbs: "Obama complied, and is now using a super-secure BlackBerry with a new e-mail address (although by now I'm sure he has Ackmadeenadude, Chavez, and Hamas in his "Fav Five").
"The president has a BlackBerry through a compromise that allows him to stay in touch with senior staff and a small group of personal friends," Gibbs said.
A part of this cell phone security compromise involves Obama's insistence on the creation of a new post of "First Caddy". Obama has tapped Mike 'Fluff' Cowan to carry his cell phone.
Mike 'Fluff' Cowan gained celebrity status as the gruff and fluffy 'stached golf caddy for Tiger Woods for two and a half years. It's rumored that Tiger fired Fluff in 1999 because he was getting too big for his britches. (This is the same reason Eddie Van Halen fired David Lee Roth and maybe why Fluff has never auditioned for vocals with the band). Prior to his work with Tiger, Fluff caddied for Peter Jacobsen, and most recently for Jim Furyk.
"Fluff has been great to work with so far," gushed Obama. "When we are on the move, Fluff is always checking the cell phone signal and alerts me when we are down to three bars. An emergency call is made for the immediate construction of a new cell tower to increase coverage and boost my signal. No more dropped calls for me, and additional, albeit unnecessary, infrastructure for you".
"I think I'm gaining his trust," Fluff stated of Obama. "Yesterday, he asked me to carry 'The Basketball' while he tied his shoe, and he hands me the briefcase carrying nuclear launch codes". I shook it and said, "I thought they called this 'The Football'." "We had a good laugh over that one!," said Fluff.
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs states that President Obama is very happy with Fluff's performance. "He keeps the phone dry when it's raining, wiping it down with his towel after the president hands it back to him. Fluff will give him advice on just about everything, from the stimulus package to the Sudoku puzzle the president is working on".
Yep ... truly hideous.
Good to remember we all have feet of clay,
flawed humans .. no person deserves worship.
It’s sad to think of what he represented to
the youth to emulate and all the years of
care and love Earl Woods devoted to making
a real man of him.
