>>Victory for democracy and law!<<

A bad sign for the TOTUS-reader — he was hoping he could pull the same end-run...

Did you post something that I can’t see? I’m elated if this news is true, but can’t bring up an article mentioning your claim that Zelaya has indeed lost. I pray this is true!

Now is the time to deal with Zelaya. Drag him out of the Brazilian Embassy and exact some frontier justice.

Now that is a nation of laws!

They had a constitution and followed it.

Some people in this nation just seem to afraid that their heroes will get their little feelings hurt if we actually do the same things here.

Thanks for sharing this great news. We celebrated Christmas 5 years ago in Roatan and we could definitely return - especially if our beloved country continues to get overtaken with insane leftist/marxists.

Now lawmakers have even snubbed international demands that he be allowed to serve the final two months of his presidency.
What a freaking stupid demand.

I have been wondering what’s been going on “inside” for the past few months. Remember how puzzled everybody was that Ubama and his ilk were so desperate to return Zelaya to power, even though Zelaya would “only” have a few months left to serve before he was termed out anyway? It made no sense on the face of it. Ubama threw everything but the kitchen sink at Honduras to get that Marxist maniac back in power.

I believe the reason Ubama wanted Zelaya back in office, however briefly, was to “clean up” some unfinished business.

Two organizations were behind the attempt to return Manuel Zelaya to power: Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARK) and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).

The SEIU works in alliance with Unitary Central of Honduran Workers (CUTH), the Confederation of Honduran Workers (CTH), the General Workers Central (CGT), and the Trade Union Confederation of the Americas (TUCA).

FARK and SEIU want to secure Honduras as a drug sanctuary and impose a Marxist government. This effort is supported by Marxist allies Hugo Chávez, Rafael Correa, Daniel Ortega, Raul Castro, and Evo Morales.

Zelaya was spirited away by the military in sudden fashion, and I believe this made Ubama VERY nervous about what may have been left behind and left unfinished in the hurry of Zelaya’s sudden departure. Ubama wanted him back in there for SOMETHING, that’s for sure. I now wonder what the contingency plan was. ....And what they have up their sleeve.

FRegards,
LH

(Thanks to jonrick46 for the above insight.)

Your post causes me to reflect upon the cockiness of Zelaya, which actually did cause me to reflect on the cockiness of Obama during the campaign.

I recall there was an incident, details I’ve forgotten, but Obama said during the campaign at one point “he doesn’t know who he’s up against” with an attitude that he was convinced beyond a doubt that he would be President. Obama was cocky as “H”, because he knew all the strings were pulled, all the i’s were dotted, and the t’s crossed by “The Organization”.

Zelaya seemed to be just as cocky for I believe similar reasons. He thought “The Organization” had him covered.

It will be interesting to see how this all goes. It’s NOT over yet.

“That” would be the constitutional removal of
a president for having violated his oath of office.

I never saw it as a coup.

Me neither. I see it the same way as you, and did from day one.

But what is most disturbing is that is the way the media and the current administration view it.

These people are dangerous Marxists. OUR COUNTRY officially took the side of the usurper in Honduras. I guess that makes sense, given who is in office.

Gee! What a conflicted country. /s

Oh, I know what's happening. Those de facto coup makers have 99% of the country scared to stand up and say they support Mad Mel. Yeah, that's it. Oh the huge manatee! When will democracy return to Honduras? /s10
