Tiger Woods Admitted to Hospital as OD Posted Dec 8th 2009 1:00AM by TMZ Staff
Tiger Woods was admitted to Health Central Hospital the day after Thanksgiving as an overdose.
Sources connected with the hospital tell TMZ the admissions chart lists "OD" and that he was having trouble breathing.
We're told the fifth floor of the hospital was put on lockdown when Tiger arrived. Tiger was admitted under an alias -- William Smith. His wife, Elin Nordegren was by his side.
As we first reported, Elin gave paramedics two pill bottles at the accident scene -- we now know the prescriptions were for Ambien and Vicodin. Tiger was in and out of consciousness, snoring at the scene, and our sources say he clearly appeared to be under the influence of something -- not alcohol.
We're also told doctors used a breathing tube to assist his respiration.
We're also told hospital officials changed Tiger's alias after a few hours to another alias because they feared people would find out he was there.
So, it’s possible that all of his dalliances came to light because he was “sleep driving”?
"That second alias -- 'Lee Trevino' -- was, in retrospect, an obvious error in judgement."
If Tiger had to be intubated, yet was discharged the same day, it would have had to be against medical advice. Does anyone know whether the 5th floor is ICU?

A real ambian addict. He needs to detox from this garbage. Look for a confession session with Oprah within a few months where he fesses up to sex addiction and abusing prescription drugs

So now TMZ is releasing HIPAA protected information.
HIPAA is only there to make sure relatives of a patient can’t make sure the patient is getting adequate medical care.

Check out the other post about a 911 call to his house and a blonde being brought in on “life support” last night but was released a couple hours later. Is it just me, or do the Woods’ seem to make fast recoveries.
Probably an oral airway, I doubt he was intubated.
