please justify??

I remember him as a communist leader, friend of our enemies, hated by the Zulu, etc.

The emancipation was good but not well done. For in the manner in which they did, South Africa dropped from one of the most modern, economically prosperous countries to a third world nation. The change did not need to ruin SA, but it did.

I did business in South Africa in 2000 and on one trip I thought we were going to go to Johannesburg but instead did our business in a completely different place well out of the city since to quote my South African host, "J-burg is a cesspool and one of the most dangerous places for a white man. We have abdicated it to the thugs and the place is like an apocalyptic movie setting." So much for the great leader BS

Apartheid was immoral. However, the Afrikaners made a mistake giving up political power too quickly. They needed to do more to bring Blacks into the political process gradually.

Or they should had split the country up, one for the Afrikaners, one for the English, one for the Zulu, one for the Coloreds.
