No Churchgoing Christmas for the First Family

The Senate vote on final passage of health reform almost scuttled their plans, but it looks like the First Family will still make it to Hawaii for Christmas. They've had a whirlwind holiday season so far, starting with the lighting of the National Christmas Tree, through hosting more than 50,000 people for 27 parties and open houses, and ending with a visit by the First Lady, Malia and Sasha, and the family's dog Bo, to deliver cookies to the Children's National Medical Center. The Obamas have also started their own holiday traditions in their new home, adding a Christmas wishing tree to the decorations festooning the White House.

But there's one common Christmas practice not on the First Family's schedule: a visit to Christmas Eve church services.

..The Obamas have attended Sunday services in Washington three times this year

Maybe that’s why they didn’t know what Jeremiah Wright said.

I don't recall any reports of the Obamas attending Church last Christmas.

They should really leave the narcissist-in-chief alone on this topic. Only the most gullible really believes he is a Christian, so it’s pointless to continually pretend he is and wonder why his behavior never matches Christianity.

Gee...now there’s a surprise. If these “Christians” were any kind of Christians, they would find a time and place to worship. They are NOT Christians...AND they are laughing about it in our faces because the morons voting for them fell for it hook line and sinker!

Obamas have also started their own holiday traditions in their new home, adding a Christmas wishing tree to the decorations festooning the White House.

Not to mention decorations honoring Chinese despots.

They attended church 3 times? Where and in what capacity? And why did Time feel the need to mention it?

I’m glad the Jerk-in-chief is getting too lazy to fake it and go to services, yet another thing he won’t be able to pretend in 2012 like he did in 2008. What a freaking mis-representing liar he was in 2008.

Of COURSE he doesn’t! If went into an honest-to-goodness, Bible-believing church, he’d burst into flame!

I heard Bozo the Presidential clown had to be reminded to say something about the troops at Christmas (In his haste to get out of DC, so he could go vacation in Hawaii) after he wee-wee’d about health care.

while the First Family intended to find a local church to attend when they moved to Washington, concerns about crowds and displacing regular worshippers has prevented them from finding a new religious home during their first year here.

What a crock. President Bush didn't seem to have that problem. Nor any other past president that I can recall.

If JW was preaching his gospel of hate in Hawaii on Christmas day, the Obamas would be in the front row. Who knows, maybe he's coming to give them a private service at their compound.

...through hosting more than 50,000 people for 27 parties and open...

If Bush tried this with 10%+ unemployment they would be calling for his impeachment.

You don’t celebrate Christmas if you are Muslim

True, if you're a Muslim you can pretend to celebrate Christmas to fool the infidels, but one thing Muslim heads of state can't do is take their wives on state visits to Muslim countries. How many times has the Teleprompter in Chief visited a Muslim country and taken the First Lady with him? Zero, and whether he's in office 4 years or 8 years or some other period of time, it'll never happen.
