Actor Charlie Sheen was booked into the Pitkin County Jail on felony domestic violence charges today, authorities in Aspen said.
Aspen police were summoned by a 9-1-1 to a home at 320 West Hallam St. near downtown at about 11:20 a.m..
A unnamed "victim did not require transport to the hospital," according to a statement from police.
The home at that address is for sale for $7.45 million, but the owner's name is not listed, according to real estate records.
Sheen married 29-year old real estate investor and actress Brooke Mueller last year and she gave birth to twins, Max and Bob, in March.
Booked into the county lockup under his real name, Carlos Irwin Estevez, Sheen was arrested on charges of felony second-degree assault, felony menacing and a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief, according to the Pitkin County Sheriff's Department. His hometown was listed as Encino, Calif.
He has an $8,500 bond but must remain in jail until his first court appearance, a standard procedure, according to a statement from the Sheriff's Department.

According to RadarOnline, Sheen went to visit Mueller at a home she was renting in Colorado. The couple began arguing and Sheen reportedly pushed Mueller. She called police and the actor was arrested and jailed on charges of second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief. Sheen has a long history of legal problems dating back to when he was 16 years old. His first arrest, for possession of marijuana, was folled soon by another for credit card forgery. Aspen police spokeswoman Stephanie Dasaro says Charlie Sheen, being held under his real name Carlos Irwin Estevez, was arrested Friday, according to ABC News.
Pitkin County Sheriffs Office patrol director Jeff Lumsden said in a statement. “Estevez had been arrested for Second Degree Assault, a class four felony, Menacing, a class five felony and Criminal Mischief, a class one misdemeanor. All charges are coupled with a domestic violence component.”

A source close to his wife told RadarOnline that the arrest came after he shoved Brooke as they argued bitterly. Charlie and Brooke have been having significant marital problems, the source said. Adding that Sheen flew to be with Brooke for Christmas, despite their problems but things got out of control almost right away.
Police say the 44-year-old actor will be held without bond in the Pitkin County Jail until his first court appearance. The court was closed for Christmas, and no date for his appearance has been set.

I’m sure she couldn’t see past the dollar signs in her eyes, that’s usually what happens. Seeing how he is when his holiday celebrating gets out of control is a quick reality-check, though. She’ll make millions off the divorce, so it’s still a good deal for her.
