Sorry for the second stupid post about trying to find an NFL game online to watch since it is NOT on TV (that I can find) and I have checked the link given the other day by helpful freepers re: another online NFL game that was NOT on TV (at least not on free TV channels I get) and could not find THIS GAME at that link.

If you have decent bandwidth, you can watch two or three games at once, from the same source of different sources. Three is about the most I’ve watched as they will begin to drag when the bandwidth is overused.

The Manning boys are always on here in Memphis, Peyton was UT, the slow one was at Ole Miss, if the TITans aren’t on.

Why in heck would the Colts throwaway a perfect season like this? The should have kept Manning in until they had a two score lead in the fourth.

Well - am watching the Eagles / Broncos on CBS TV ...and now the Colts/Jets online...that’s about all I can handle....at once....

LOL.

But did watch the Panthers cream the Giants earlier today.

The Colts crowd clearly wants Manning back in there. I do too. Know they don’t want to risk him being injured...but...a game is a game...and a perfect season is such a rare thing....surely would like to see him back in during the 4th quarter.

ARe they? Well, the Colts are usually on here in NC but for some reason not today....instead it’s Eagles/Denver. Have no idea why that game and not the Colts/Jets.

Many Colts fans here in NC still .... but we also of course follow the Panthers....who basically destroyed the other Manning’s team today. :-)

(I like both Manning’s but gotta root for Carolina when they play the Giants)

Manning has almost never missed a game, and is rarely sacked. I’m quitting this game. And, the Colts did this once before and got knocked out of the playoffs early. I think this is a psychological mistake to, in effect, throw a game.

Pats fan actually cheering for Jets to see Colts get their first defeat; barring a miracle...pained expression on Manning’s face after that last 2 pt conversion

Jets intercept it with 4:39 to go!

Colts — 3rd best team of the decade

1. Patriots
2. Stillers
3. Colts
4. Giants
5. Eagles

Agreed. Mistake. Understandable one - preserve Manning for playoffs. But still big mistake, IMHO.

I cut it off.

I fully agree. It's one thing to rest the starters when you have a three-TD lead late in the game. It's quite another to literally "throw a game" because you are afraid of injuring your starters for the playoffs. I have never seen this strategy work and I predict that the Colts will get bounced out of the playoffs in their first round (probably by the Chargers).

Teams that play hard all season long tend to be the ones that make it to the Super Bowl.
