I prefer that the tribes privately buy land than have the government condemn and steal to give to them. And for them to privately buy means there are private sellers willing to sell.
This is an ideal win-win.

Is not running a Casino on a Reservation “self sustaining”? By developing Casinos or any other enterprise on a Rez is exactly why they were put on them to start with. That, and for military protection against greedy white men who loved to shoot them for sport.
