Thomas really dislikes Hartnell too, doesn't he? He played for us for several years and was always taking bad penalties at the worst times.

That was the dumbest thing I ever saw a goalie do.

And it almost cost them the game.

It made him look pretty foolish. I think he knew he got lucky to not lose it for them. I was happy for him at the end when he was obviously overcome with emotion about being named to the team.

There was a great game on Sun this afternoon ... I love it when the Pens lose!

The Bolts took it to ‘em all day long and Cosby got suckered into a crosschecking penalty in the closing seconds to seal the score at 3-1 Bolts.

Better now than at the end of the season, I guess.

I’m waiting for the Pens / Thrashers game to start.

Pens have lost their last 5. Kunitz is a healthy scratch and Caputi (up from AHL) is in to try to shake things up.

FYI - I’m a season ticket holder for the Hershey Bears, so I’ve actually met half of the Caps team when they were minor leaguers, including Coach Bruce Boudreau.

US wins gold, 6-5, in OT over Canada, on Canadian ice. Big win, and the best part - all the players sang the national anthem during the medal ceremony...and they all knew the words :)
