Here are video highlights of the Dallas Cowboys 24-0 impressive win over the Philadelphia Eagles yesterday to win the NFC East Championship, and roll into the NFC Playoffs as the number three seed.
The win means Dallas will host a playoff game next Saturday night against - the Philadelphia Eagles. Had they won, the Eagles could have clinched the number two seed in the playoffs, won the NFC East, and secured a bye next week. But it was not to be as Dallas dominated the game from start to finish in every phase.
The victory by the Cowboys was a shock to many, who have said repeatedly the Cowboys would "choke" in the big game. But Dallas has now won three straight "must have" games, beating the previously unbeaten New Orleans Saints - in New Orleans - three weeks ago, and shutting out the Redskins and the Eagles the last two weeks, 17-0 and 24-0. The back-to-back shutouts are the first ever in the history of the Cowboys.
Now the question becomes, can Dallas beat the Eagles three times this season, and two straight weeks? The rematch will be the first playoff game ever played in the new Cowboys Stadium, and will begin at 7:00 PM CT next Saturday on NBC. . . . (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

“Playoff” Rematch Looms
Three of the four wildcard games are rematches from the week before. Pretty bizarre.
From my reading the back to back shutouts was the first since Tennessee in 2000. It is also very rare a team gets 2 shutouts in an entire season, apparently.
As well as the offense played, most attempts and yards by a Cowboys team ever, the defense gets all the praise in the past few games.
Two years ago the Cowboys won their division and then lost the playoff game to a team they had already beaten twice during the regular season.
uh oh.
Go Cowboys.
Usually pretty rare too, right?
This has been a damn good football season.
After living in the D.C. area for 19 years, I couldn't agree with you more!
GO VIKINGS!
I don’t know about “crush” but game proved Rush was right, again.
Good thing being held in Dallas - Philly fans are goons,
why else would have a jail in the stadium?
On the other hand, doubt that Eagles players have had the rap sheets Dallas players have had over the years.
Fear not Cowboy Haters - Dallas is coached by the dumbest head coach in the NFL.
It’s usually a novelty for one such game to happen in a season, let alone 3 out of 4. And it’s something that one loss busted the Eagles down from the number 2 seed to the sixth seed. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Cowboys/Green Bay NFC final, the way both teams have been playing.
Sorry, Michael Vick alone reduces that argument to rubble.
I watched the game and Dallas looked very good. However, I got the feeling that Philly wasn’t showing them all their cards. I think that the Cowboys will see a different game plan from them next weekend. Philly is going to blitz more and we’ll see more cheap shots on Romo like in the fourth quarter.
Here I is.
(Apologies to Alfalfa and Buckwheet)
Whew-hoo!!! Come on Cowboys, don’t disappoint.
Might make the Iggles a good bet next week.
Philly had a division championship and home field advantage where they would rematch the Cowboys at stake in this game and I doubt they were not showing all their cards. Dallas is really just playing great dominating football right now. Having to play in Dallas again this week does not thrill them. I believe the San Diego and the Cowboys will be squaring off in the Super Bowl as they are the hottest two teams in football going into the playoffs.
