Yes, I don’t think this WH has a clue what we are facing.

I guess Islam hasn’t given up on planes yet, as a weapon in their arsenal in the war they are waging against the West...

At some point I would think the airlines would realize the threat to their business and come up with their own plans for increasing security and responding to incidents.

Their sole reliance on the government has been a little stunning considering the trillions of dollars at stake.

(Or is that because the airlines believe they are “too big to fail” anyway?)

the Newark incident may have been a test run. Go in and plant your deadly bomb, biological agent, etc...and the guy going through the scanner picks it up later.

Blow up the plane over a city...does the deadly agent stay in the form or does the explosion kill it...or is there an biological agent that activates on high heat.

The last time I did, however, I did so right at the beginning of Gulf War 2 and I was wondering if I would get off that plane alive. I don’t know if you remember, but if you were flying during the Gulf War 2 stuff going on, you were looking around and over your shoulder for anything out of place... LOL...

Now, on the way back home, I took the Amtrak, because I really didn’t want to fly — and what do you know but some kook got on board the Southwest Chief and went whacko and said there was a bomb on board and pulled the emergency stop for the train. You should have seen everyone jumping off that train... when it stopped... it was a sight to behold... :-)

The muslim and lesbian DHS was busy watching Free Republic.

Or don’t blow up the plane. Just release something that has every passenger dropping like flies within 48 of getting off that plane, see how long it takes to realize what happened, sit back and watch the pandemonium.

I just wonder what steps the airlines could take on their own to augment security. Or are they so highly regulated they cannot even operate like private businesses and protect themselves from threats to their business?

My question is do we get three of these communications per month or three hundred thousand. If the latter than we can’t expect much time to be spent on each one.

Once 0 gets his healthcare and puts everybody on it there will be a shortage of Dr’s, hospitals etc. Medicare recipients will be kicked to the curb, maybe even the white middle class and Jews......sort of like the late 30’s.

I really wish Bush and Cheney were still in charge of our national security. Did you see that assclown Brennan make a fool of himself this week when he tried to dispute Cheney, while at the same time his Ubama administration has a policy of “catch and release” for terrorists (returning them to Yemen is like Israel returning terrorists to Hamas) and bringing terrorist masterminds from Gitmo to freaking Manhattan courtrooms so they can lawyer up and get put on trial like they knocked over a liquor store!

Yes, Lancey, I saw Brennan this weekend. He was so disappointed in Cheney, yet stood up for Napolitano, and said the “system worked”, again......just not that one day. Next time, I excpect Brennan to tell every American which day the system is not working so we can stay home. Problem solved!

What worries me is obama and his adminstration is treating this as a crime, and not exploiting information out of the terrorist in hand to get further info.. As this article points out, there are credible sources that terrorists are still working on the bombing aspect of taking down a plane, but are also very interested in using a biotoxin to essentially accomplish the same effect.
