The SSCS's trimaran Ady Gil has been sunk. Whoohooooo!
Too bad the eco-fascists list a $1.5 million asset, their prized black racing trimaran. One more Jolly Roger in the bottom of the Southern Ocean.

My only regret is that the Captain didn’t go down with his ship.

The Sea Shepherd's anti-whaling speedboat Ady Gill has sunk after it was sliced in two by a Japanese whaling vessel during a clash in the Southern Ocean on Wednesday. Good riddance.
My kudos to the Shonan Maru #2 for standing up to these envirowhackos.

Mr Watson says they were able to remove all the fuel from the speedboat to prevent any pollution.
Nice job, idiot. That probably shifted the boat's trim forward allowing more seawater to flood through the open bow section during the tow. The marine casuality assessors will also investigate post-collision actions by the crew.

Mr Watson says two Japanese harpoon ships were nearby but did not offer any help after the incident. Since the enviro freaks say that this was an act of war, the Japanese should revive and old war time naval tactic of theirs. Machine gun the survivors that are in the water.

By Maritime law how can the eco-dinks be considered anything other than pirates? They should expect to be sent to the bottom of the sea.

This is the latest greenie to find out that ships don’t turn on a dime. In the late 1980s, I had a buddy who worked in the engine room aboard the USS John Hancock (homeport Mayport, Florida). They were patrolling an area that was off-limits for an ICBM launch. They wound up chopping a Greenpeace boat in half that was attempting to disrupt the missile launch. Pulling in front of a destroyer and stopping is a real bad idea.

Even the act of towing was taking more water on. The Japanese vessel had cut the vessel completely in half and made it unseaworthy."The video and pics I saw show the eco's ship WAS NOT cut in half but the tip was knocked off.

Is this the same trimaran that attempted a circumnavigation using only bio-fuels?

Good. Japanese have eaten whale since before Christ and them being a developed country does not automatically disqualify them from continuing to consume them like other indigenous tribes.
Plus, whale is delicious.

The eco-facists were involved in PIRACY by its complete and proper definition, they were flying the jolly rodger, seen in your photo on the left, still on one of its flagpoles, they were attempting to interfere in the lawful commerce of the other ship. That’s Piracy and to top it all off the Japanese ship didn’t ram their boat, they ran themselves into the side of the whaler.
The whaler would have been completely within their rights to not have rescued the pirate crew and left them with their scuttled ship to die as it sank.
