Do keep “vanity” posts to a minimum - Free Republic is primarily a place to discuss news, articles, and editorials. Vanity posts, creations of the poster him or herself, should meet a high standard of quality before one is even considered worthy of posting.

It looks to me like a growing population of freepers are expressing considerable annoyance with blog pimps.
I thought it was just me, but maybe the site mods will see that there are a lot of people who don’t think the site is well-served by people trolling for hits and adding no useful content.
At least, maybe more freepers will help the mods get blog posts pushed to the blogger forums.
And maybe the blog pimps will be restrained from attacking other freepers who think the site is for advancing the conservative cause, not making money on the internet.

A lot of us use FR to convey information and discuss issues. We feel if something is worth saying, we'll find a thread talking about the topic and say something about it, or respond to another post.
If we feel we have something worth a thread of its own, we'll label the thread a vanity and have our say.
What we DON'T do is post 5 words, and then redirect eveyone AWAY from FR to go read some worthless blog. If we have something worth posting, we post it HERE and let others comment or criticize.
Some folks see FR as a place to flog their blogs, and nothing else.
Maybe that is why you get those keywords (and none of them were from me - if I have something to say, I say it).
