Well how about that, Scott Brown won the Senate election in Massachusetts.
All you EEYORES who were negging the threads and naysaying any chance Scott had at winning can give it up to all the rest of us, the vast majority I daresay, who were actually finding something positive to do or to say about the situation.
Even worse than the Eeyores are the 100%’ers, the ones who reject anything less than perfection, settle for nothing, and then gripe endlessly about how bad things are.
I don’t think it’s sad at all since it must be fiction and not real.
I don’t believe in fiction and never read any even in school.
And idiot because they don’t want to support a pro choice, pro Romneycare republican? I’d call that being a conservative. But I forget that being a conservative and a republican are not mutually exclusive.
"Winnie the Pooh" (not poo) is classic British children's literature, not a comic book character. The first book of the "Winnie the Pooh" series was published in 1926.
Expressions from the book are iconic enough to appear in common writing today; expressions such as , "Don't be an Eeyore". There was even a book written called "The Tao of Pooh" which reflected on the philosophy of what Pooh said; much of which was humorous on the surface, but definitely contained a deeper philosophical meaning.

God the Creator imbued mankind with his essence creating him in His own image. One of those essential aspects was the ability for creation. Creating in writing, or what you call “not real”, is a reflection of God’s aspect.
Of course you don’t think it is sad, you have no idea what you are missing. It’s like someone who has only eaten lettuce saying they are not sad that they have never had steak. They have no way to understand the comparison.
A week ago, I thought he might eeek it out but it would be close enough to be Franken-ed. he won by the minimum required 5% which prevents the demholes from stealing it.

You therefor claim to have never read Mark Twain, Herman Melville, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Shakespeare (perhaps you made an exception for the histories, but certainly not the comedies). No Aesop's Fables or Homer for you! NoEdgar Rice Burroughs, Edgar Allan Poe, or Lewis Carroll. No Jules Verne, Douglas Adams, Heinlein, or Frank Herbert.

I am very glad Scott Brown won. He is definitely a solid Massachusetts conservative.
I have to state that I do not see national office in his future, unless I have underestimated his conservatism.

Who in their right mind would think that you could move Mass to a Right Wing Mecca in one election after 40 years of darkness. I am in this for the long game and this was akin to taking both Bishops in one play. It will stop most of 0’s agenda cold. That is a BIG WIN for me. Oh and in case you missed it Brown has to run again in 2012. Do you think he is going to stray too far from where he is now? Not on a bet.

Henry V is not a historical accounting of the life of Henry V. That’s like saying Saving Private Ryan is non-fiction because the invasion of Normandy really did happen.
Shakespeare included historical elements, but it wasn’t a scholarly look at the history. It was a rousing good story about some of England’s great victories over France.
Those of us who are familiar with NE republicans know the jaded history they bring to the GOP.

For those who supported Brown, it will be your never ending job to hold his feet to the fire. For those of us who are familiar with leopards in RINO clothing, we will constantly be on the hunt.

You do not advance conservatism by becoming more liberal.
While the country may have been saved from ObamaCare, at what expense to conservatism is the election of a pro-choice, pro RomneyCare republican?
By that standard, OK. I guess I was looking for “fiction” to include people who never really existed, events that never happened, but could have.
