Show your representative that their constituents support reform (Ellie Light issue)
The Democratic Party ^

Posted on 01/24/2010 10:13:26 AM PST by JimWayne

Last weekend, the House of Representatives passed legislation that would bring truly comprehensive health reform to America.

After this major decision, representatives will be watching their district very closely to see how constituents react. So we must publicly show that voters thank those who worked hard for reform and are counting on representatives who voted “no” to deliver in the future.

Will you help make the case for reform by writing a quick letter to the editor of your local paper?

Get started by entering your zip code in the box on the right:

I found this information from a comment in pajamasmedia. Also see http://www.democrats.org/a/2010/01/saturday_open_t_87.php which has a comment with the following paragraph:

As the one year mark is upon us for Obama's administration----just keep reminding people----it took Bush/Cheney 8 years to create this mess, to put us in deep recession, to lose 7Million jobs, to throw us into two failures of Occupations, to take a surplus and turn it into a Deficit (largest in history), to outspend every President in history, etc, etc, and Obama does not have a magic wand to turn all this around overnight!

Just to make a quick editorial fix to the hyperlink for the rest of the story, it should read:

Thanks for the fix. :-) Please go to their website and enter your zip code. It gives a list of newspapers you can choose (they automatically email it out and they even state that they will make sure that each newspaper believes that they are the only one getting the email) and once you enter your details, they even give you talking points next to the box in which you compose your letter.

Here’s the unique problem with Democrats: They are Godless, so they believe they can control EVERYTHING..from editorial to the weather..they truly believe they are in charge. It’s working out really well for them, no?

I changed it ...slightly!!!!

On Saturday, November 7th, a partisan majority of the House of Representatives made history by passing H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act.

After over two decades since this ridicules takeover of health care was attempted by Hillary Clinton this chamber of Congress passed another idiotic bill overwhelmingly rejected by the American people . This is a historic absurdity.

Representatives who voted for this bill deserve exactly what they are about to receive, a prolonged trip home after being defeated at the polls for supporting this socialist agenda against the will of the people of this country.

reverend wright North Sioux City, SD 57049 To [edit] Sioux City Journal Subject [edit] government health care takeover Message [edit] On Saturday, November 7th, a bipartisan majority of the House of Representatives made history by passing H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act. After nearly a century of false starts, this was the first time a chamber of Congress has ever passed comprehensive health insurance reform. This is a historic accomplishment. Representatives who voted against this bill deserve thanks for resisting tremendous pressure from the insurance industry lobbyists and standing up for their constituents. Those who did vote for the bill have one last opportunity to reconsider and support freedom in the upcoming final House vote – and they should do so. A vote against this bill was a vote to provide secure and stable freedom for Americans with insurance, expand coverage for those who do not have insurance, lower costs for families and businesses, and begin to reduce the deficit.
