Oh Mel. Geez, I still dream of him as he was in Braveheart, but is going soft in the head as he gets older?
I like Mel more in the movies than in real life.
I don’t disagree completely. Yes, the aura is gone. Yes, his character is clearly not what people thought, but he is still a tremendous golfer. It will be interesting to see what happens on his return.
Maybe he wants to putt with him..
Good for Mel.
ok, so now I’m stuck with this image of Tiger on a horse in Scotland with blue face paint, saying “They can take my endorsements, and my kids.....”
Me too—I think the Gibson clan goes a little loopy when they hit a certain age.
Tiger disgraced golf and when will the PGA check him for steroids and HGH use. The PGA is not supposed to be the NFL or NBA or even MBL.
I used to like Mel but he is just another adulterer and drunk.
You don't repent because you seek forgiveness.
You repent because you really know that you did something wrong and really do repent. Full Stop.
If Mel wants to express his personal forgiveness, that's all well and good, but he ought to spend more time discussing the vital role that true repentence must play for Tiger Woods' future.
The pleasure of watching a great golfer really pales in comparison with the more important issues here.
So Mel’s biggest concern about the whole issue is whether he gets to see Tiger play golf. Mel (beginning with his arrest) is revealing himself to be a much different individual than we thought just a few short years ago.
Maybe Mel will grant Tiger an “annulment.”
I don’t like to watch golf, but.....
Stuff your slander and moral damnation. A thousand Tigers and Mels would be better than the unforgiving poison you're spewing. May God hold you alone to the merciless, contemptuously arrogant standard you sneer out for the rest of the world, and spare us all from your hypocritical spit.
Another wife cheater rationalizes.
If he’d beaten his wife, I would never want to see him again. I think he acted foolishly and callously towards his wife, but many rich and famous men have done far worse. I don’t admire his catting around but I can overlook it.
I don’t watch golf on TV, but I did occassionally when Tiger played. And he was exciting to watch.
Last time I checked.....
He was ooohhh...lemme seee....
EIGHTEEN OVER PAR!!
[/sarc] [apols = NO]
but to KEEP doing that...now there's the rub....
whenever I hear anyone excusing others bad behaviour it makes me think that they are just covering for themselves.....
I don't care if Woods wants to have sex with 5000 women....let him do as an unmarried man who doesn't carry the banner of being "nice" and
