I don’t think they were issuing SS numbers at birth when he was born in the early 60’s. In those days you applied for it when you went to work. It wasn’t until later they started issuing one when you were born.

But if he did his ice cream gig when he was 16, then this would be 1977, and he would need to go then and get a SS, just as you did and I did, and in 77 he was definitely living in Hawaii ...

So wouldn’t he have a number starting with whatever Hawaii was using????

Absolutely! Just one more thing that seems to indicate something is seriously amiss with him. I don't know of anyone who's ever had more than one SS#, legally.
