Most every college and professional football game I’ve ever seen the losers congratulate the winners. Or a good portion of the team anyways.
We did it in little league baseball. We did it in basketball.
This sets a poor example for kids who were watching the Superbowl.
When ya get beat, that’s how the cookie crumbles.
And competitive sports usually has a winner and a loser except in the rare tie.
A month ago my favorite college team lost the National Championship and the 18 year old kid who played QB had the dignity to go shake hands with the winning team.
And last night my favorite NFL team won the SB and Manning did not have the stones to go shake hands with the winning team.
And, I knew Peyton when he was a kid.
