I have been thinking this evening about this subject of eligibility or Obama's lack there of. After reading Jack Cashill's latest column on the subject, I really started thinking.
Obama Sr. was not a citizen of the United states, then that makes Obama purely ineligible to be President of the United States.
Also, today, we have DNA. Obama's supposed siblings are still living. Couldn’t we send investigators to those countries where they reside and get DNA samples from Obama's half siblings. He supposedly has half siblings from the Obama Sr. side and half siblings from the mother's side in Indonesia. Wouldn't the DNA samples get to the bottom of the facts? Also, is that guy Frank Marshall still alive? If he is, let's get his DNA sample also. Remember, back in the 90's we got samples off a blue dress That matched Slick Willie's DNA.

How do you propose to get a sample of the subject’s DNA?
For what purpose? Don’t we already know who the biological father is?
If he's not going to let people see his birth certificate, he's harly going to submit to DNA testing.

Nobody claims Sr. was an American citizen. The argument is over whether the child of a non-American and an American is "natural-born" if born in the USA. I come down on the side that says he is.
Of course, there is also some argument about where he was born, but I've seen nothing resembling evidence that he was born anywhere but Hawaii.
Questions and odd coincidences won't cut it. If you want to challenge his eligibility someone will have to come up with actual evidence, which has to date been in real short supply.
If he is who he says he is, then there should be no problem. But of there is, there are ways to get it.

No, it doesn't. If O was born in the states/territories, then he's a natural-born citizen, regardless of whether both parents are citizens.

I agree with you and just wish that folks would expend their energy getting American socialists out of office, starting with a whole slew of congress critters of the progressive bent, members of both major parties.

I am concerned about his Occidental college records, Harvard records, high school records. With GW Bush we got to read of his hemoroid operation. With Kerry we never got to read his (dishonorable?) discharge papers. I am concerned about the double standard, and some correction needs to be made to our process. Something along the lines of “No privacy of records shall be extended to the personal papers or records of any person who registers to run for the office of President.”
Non of us voted for him, I am pretty sure. Why couldn’t we convince enough others?

If obama is not eligible, then he’s not eligible. It doesn’t matter who or how many people vote for him. What we need is to see the documents. Then we can decide eligibility.

At times I've wondered about the members of congress who are privy to our nation's top secrets and also about those in the adminstration with the same 'top security clearances.' How would we know whether any have been rejected and on what grounds?
Also, how is it that Rahm Emanuel has a top security clearance, when in fact, he holds dual citizenship?

Well, since your not in charge that would be an unimportant opinion.
The laws of the US in 1961 or prior (depending on when he was born)say that even if he was born in the states he can’t be natural born if he was the spawn of a 16 year old minor and a foreign national.
I believe in all of this but its all a moot point.....even if there was video evidence of zero’s non-citizenship, the lacky congress would pass a law that anybody can become prez RETROACTIVELY....thats’ what they want anyway...
There is a good blog going on right now at Drkatesview. It is a proven fact that the SSAN Obummer is using belongs to a man born in the 1880s in Connecticut, and who applied for his SSAN in 1935. Obummer was never in Connecticut. The original owner of the SSAN is now long dead. Bloggers are are saying that SSAN numbers are retired once the owner of that SSAN has died, thus Obummer’s use of a fraudulent SSAN is a serious offense, with a 10 year jail term. Take a gander at that blog for all the fine points. And wouldn’t it be fun if he got hauled off to jail for ten years for feloniously using a SSAN which is not his.
