In a recent column for CNN.com, fiery political analyst Roland Martin urged the President of the United States to get down and dirty with his political adversaries. Like, you know, jump ugly and go all street thug on 'em. Clearly spoiling for a fight — and with a curious, chest-bumping homage to the nasty culture of radical rappers — Martin wrote:
Obama's critics keep blasting him for Chicago-style politics. So, fine. Channel your inner Al Capone and go gangsta against your foes. Let 'em know that if they aren't with you, they are against you, and will pay the price.

The problem with all the urgings by elite lefties to go brawling, Obama would if he knew it wouldn’t be political suicide. Undoubtedly even a committed leftist like Obama realizes that he vastly overestimated his “mandate” for change. Simply put, the American people don’t want to eat what Obama is cooking.

This is exactly the mentality that Hayek chronicles in his landmark “Road to Serfdom”. Socialists/Communists always attempt take more control because their policies never work. They say they would only work if they could be rid of those that are stop their grand plans. Eventually, the most ruthless of the lot get control and then you end up with a totalitarian dictatorship like Stalin, Hitler or Mao. Always starts with the same excuse - their plans would work if it were not for (fill in your scapegoat - jews, capitalists etc..).... and pretty soon, they are murdering millions of their own people.
The same Roland Martin who was highly offended by Sarah Palin’s quip about BO as a “community organizer” because both his parents were community organizers in Houston. He has obviously been on the gravy train from his youth.
But in some one on the right said was Obama was going "gangsta"or even used the word "gangsta" in any connection to Obama, they be scream racist!!!
Community organizers in HOUSTON - one of America's premier cities, and economic steam engine - WHY would there be any community organizers there, isn't everybody too busy working to have time to organize????
Martin had TWO parents who were community organizers?? He must be young....
