Making sure that the highest law of the land is obeyed. I would be advocating this even if I thought Biden would be a worse President than Hussein; this issue is above politics, it’s about the fundamentals of our country.

I look at the Roger Calero case as an example of what would happen. He’s a resident alien who ran for president under the socialist banner.

Obviously he wasn’t going to win but he launched lawsuits in multiple states based on the fact that some states allowed him on the ballot and other states didn’t. Imagine what would have happened if a democrat or republican had been denied a ballot slot like that.

Another issue that people need to be looking at is stopping George Soros secretary of state project.

There are plenty of people with plenty of minutes to handle everything that needs to be handled, including the questions around what Obamao is hiding and whether or not his presidency is unconstitutional. I leave it up to others who have invested time and energy, you should do the same, if you think there are better fish to fry. My advise is to answer the questions about Obamao’s birth with an “I don’t know,” which is certainly true, and ask back, “What is he hiding.” Equally certain is that he is hiding something. It only takes a few moments out of other matters.

It is you who is committing the error of believing that the Constitution is something that needs “interpretation.” And in the process you are appear to be imputing meanings to it that it nowhere contains.

The Constitution requires that NO ONE but a natural born citizen may serve as commander in chief. You don’t need to interpret that, do you? The words and their meaning are as clear today as the day they were written. No one but someone with the natural undivided loyalty innate in a person born in the US to parents owing no other national allegiances.

Come on, only apologists for perfidy claim to find ambiguity in these words of art.

And, in fact, today in an offense to common sense and Constitutional law, we have precisely the situation forbidden by the Constitution. The particular individual must therefor stand as a usurper, for he is one in fact and law.

What can be done? As a practical matter, it seems very little. But that doesn’t mean we must need become defeatist. We can resist, and we shall, until he is shamed and removed.

The issue, simply, is “does the law matter or not?” If it doesn’t, then there is no law, except whatever the people who can enforce it say it is.

This would be a bad idea even no matter what the President’s political view were.

Actually I think after the mess of Obama most will want to go back to the way it used to be(older experienced white guy). Hillary and Biden (any time with the gaffmaster as POYUS will be his undoing) do not fit that mold at all.

That all other issues go by the wayside
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Who is letting other issues “go by the wayside”????

Huh?

Please stop using this DOJ talking point.

There are a ***very few** attorneys out there litigating. There are a ***handful** of journalists who may be devoting most of their waking hours to the issues...BUT BUT BUT BUT...

....The rest of us are marching with the Teapers, writing our congressmen, organizing for the next campaign on our block, educating our friends and neighbors about conservative issues, fighting election fraud, defending the unborn, and working like crazy to see that true Constitution defending conservatives are elected.

And....The **TRUTH** will **ALWAYS** set us free! The following is the TRUTH!

Truth: Obama has gone to very considerable and expensive trouble to hide documents and information that the unanointed American routinely discloses throughout his lifetime.

Truth: Obama is acting like a guilty man.

Truth: Obama even used DOJ attorneys ( paid for by the U.S. citizen) to prevent the release of information and documents that common Americans release routinely.

TRUTH: Obama is and has**wasted** and misused American resources at a time when our soldiers are being shot dead on their bases and recruitment centers, planes are nearly blown out of the sky, and soldiers nearly poisoned with their food.

Truth: Obama used DOJ attorneys and distracted them from the important work of keeping American safe, all in an effort to hide common information.

Uh, no. The term “natural born” was well understood and was a legal term of the time. Stating what means in 2010 is a deliberate reinterpretation of the constitution. It's akin to saying that the right to keep and bear arms actually means the right to wear tank tops.

No, I'm stating that the "natural born citizen" reference in Section 1 Article 2 has never been defined. It is those arguing for a de Vattel "interpretation" of the phrase that are imputing meanings that don't exist in the Constitution.

“The issue, simply, is “does the law matter or not?””

IMO, we are standing in a field of 100,000 broken laws, trying to figure out where to begin cleaning up.

What the "birthers" are asking for, and being stonewalled, is for the REAL documentation surrounding the circumstnces of his birth. Also, was Dunham/Obama/Soetoro ever confirmed in his American citizenship? Because apparently he was traveling at one time on an Indonesian passport.

Sorry, but the system is set up so that we are legally able to find out less about candidates for the most important job in the country than we are about people applying for a job as janitor at the local high school. All we really know about Obama is what he has chosen to tell us about himself, and from other evidence, we know he is a serial liar.

A deposed Obama might be a “race martyr”, it might give a short-term boost to the left, but fixing the process would ensure that this problem could never occur in the future.

And exposing one of the icons of the left, and all of his sycophantic supporters as liars and enablers might just have the opposite effect.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I see this as a possible strategy for stopping Obama.

The documentors could arrange to have an **obvious** alien resident run for president. Hey! Orly Taitz ( although a citizen) could do it! This person could then sue like crazy in all the courts of the land.

Hey! If Obama can get on the ballot without documenting his status, then why not some other resident alien.

It would certainly help generate publicity on the problem and direct attention to Obama’s lack of documentation.

“The “negative narrative” has never stopped and will never be stopped. “

Actually, I disagree... the attempts will never stop, but, for instance, not many will claim the NYT has no bias any more.

We ARE breaking may MSM narratives these days.

I'm sure it was, or it would have been more clearly defined. However, there's no definitive proof, anywhere, that de Vattel's views on citizenship (two parents, both citizens) was the common understanding of the phrase.

The fact that jus soli is the common interpretation of the term today is not a reinterpretation, it's acknowledgment of the modern reality.

Too rational, too much truth for the obamanoids. You’ve too efficiently exposed two of the Axelgreasy talking points: 1) demanding the lying bastard in the Oval Office show proof of natural born citizenship is an extreme position, and 2) marginalizing those demanding to know where he/it the oval office little half-black nettle comes from is the only thing left for the fascist asshats. Expect to be slammed for exposing so much about their affirmative action liar-in-chief and his Axelgreasy strategist.

“What the “birthers” are asking for, and being stonewalled, is for the REAL documentation “

I see your point.

Instead of denigrating “birthers” I think conservatives like the Becks & Coulters “should” explain that while shouting “Kenya” is a losing proposition, it is proper to pursue personal documentation for elected officials. This should be in the “Freedom of Information” arena. We should be able to see college grades & applications & scholarship documents as well as what is written on the original birth certificate.

By starting with “prove you are a citizen” — which I think came from Hillary — we actually lost a chance to make utterly reasonable requests.

Now... late in the game... the highly motivated people come off like just another group of haters. We have helped to marginalize ourselves.

Maybe a new statement is needed... new spokesmen... we are not trying to remove BHO... we just have a right to see the following 12 documents. Right?

Take a step back: How about a new law to require that anyone running for an elected federal post must disclose all documents related to education, military, and birth.

Append this, maybe, to the FOI act?

Please stop using this DOJ talking point.

Please link me to the DOJ talking point that says real, pressing issues with our present government, issues that are of vital concern to conservatives, take precedence over ethereal arguments about the meaning of NBC.
