Wasn't sure How or Where to post this but .. Just a little 'Heads Up' to all the Freepers: Rush Limbaugh mentioned you on his program today!!!
It was around one o'clock when he said that he received information from the Freepers about the Stack Manifesto.
Maybe not earth shattering but I thought that it was Great.
Rush is always welcome here.
Not the first time. He has mentioned freepers in the past too. Thanks for the heads up.
As a matter of fact....I thought I heard him mentioning that yesterday (the liberal authors that were quoted in the screed he left behind).

I miss hearing your show, Rush! I need to sign up for 24/7. I used to be able to hear it out of Ogdensburg, NY, on my car radio when the weather was good, but now I work. :)

Isn’t there some freeper named something like, “harmless little dust ball” or something like that, it’s some funny little phrase that he used to refer to himself on air as.
Somebody needs to photoshop “Hi Rush!” onto Sarah’s hand.
In any case the post I linked to didn't appear until 11 minutes after the show was over yesterday.

Hearing Rush mention FR is how I found out about this place many years ago!
Hmmmmmm. It could have been another talk-show host. I do remember it being mentioned by ‘someone’, yesterday. Ah, well. :)
Rush frequently referred to FR back during impeachment...everything from glowing admiration at some of the more insightful posts, to picking on some of the Y2K & Clinton suspending the 2000 election craziness that was going on here at the time. He’s tapered off on his references in the interim but still drops the occasional reference :-)
If Rush is show prep for the rest of the media, FR is show prep for Rush.
Spend a couple days reading the latest articles on FR, and then listening to Rush. The proof is in the silly human-interest stories, you know, “Man in Moose Pee, Idaho told to remove Army stickers from his cat” kinds of things.
I remember Tony Snow telling some of us FReepers that went to visit him when he still have his radio gig that FR was required show prep before his program.
The amount of well known folks in media, and in the political scene that lurk and post here might truly surprise some of you!
Free Republic is 'show prep' for Rush.
I don't know how many items I hear him mention that I have read on FR first.
