Governor Sarah Palin has done MUCH more for the conservative cause and this country as a whole, even WITHOUT a title and in far less time.
1) Palin, not Scott Brown, is most responsible for the reason why healthcare reform is in jeopardy. (Remember "Death Panels?") --> Mitt Romney instituted socialized medicine in his state!
2) Palin publicly challenged the science of global warming before it became "cool" to do so. --> Newt Gingrich and Tim Pawlenty are "greenies," though they are probably flip flopping on this now.
4) Palin has been a vocal advocate for the unborn far more than any other Republican, before and after she rose to national prominence. She doesn't just "talk" during speeches or "vote" whenever a bill comes up. Palin walks the walk. Her social values put her in the good graces of most Americans, INCLUDING minority and immigrant Americans as well.
4) Palin endorsed underdog Doug Hoffman in NY-23 and allied herself with the Tea Party movement, regardless of the "establishment fallout" that she'd be met with. --> Were John Thune or Mike Pence as bold and aggressive in their willingness to challenge the GOP establishment, before it became cool? No, they all seemed quite "muted" until Palin blazed the trail first. Or maybe it's because, they're PART of the establishment.
Palin has shown time and time again, she's about the people--not about career politics and saving her political skin.
5) Palin has incredibly media savvy, and this will serve her well should she ever become President. She will not let the media control and manipulate her agenda, but will instead communicate directly to the people.
6) Palin's support for our men and women in uniform is not phony -- but genuine and close to her heart. Her own son is honorably serving in the military. HARDLY (if ANY) of our representatives in Congress have any children who serve! Not only that, I trust Palin to take a bullet for a fellow American before any of the other "men" in our government would. Any day.
7) Palin takes on her own worst enemies without losing her integrity or class. She's even willing to challenge the greater culture at large. Even Hollywood feels threatened by her.
8) Palin is unabashed about her faith in Jesus Christ and her Biblical worldview.
9) PALIN has the boldness to directly call out Obama for his lies AND his cronies (like Rahm) for their incompetence and classlessness. NO OTHER REPUBLICAN has been as blunt, up front, and truthful as she has regarding the nature of Obama and his agenda!
10) I'm leaving out many other examples.
Point blank, Governor Palin has proven her leadership, while the others in the running have had MORE time and actual power to do so, but have little to show for it.
Nobody comes close to Palin when it comes to boldness, and sticking it to the progressivist fascists.
agreed. nice post
*PING*
Nice post. I agree with every point. You could add her integrity and loyalty. That’s hard to come by with many of the ‘other’ candidates, that go where the political winds are blowing.
'NUFF said! - The rest of the 'candidates' are PLASTIC CONSERVATIVES!
“9) PALIN has the boldness to directly call out Obama for his lies AND his cronies (like Rahm) for their incompetence and classlessness. NO OTHER REPUBLICAN has been as blunt, up front, and truthful as she has regarding the nature of Obama and his agenda!”
Amen, Friend. Amen!!!!!
Having been one of six boys and two girls of a (my) mother ... having been married for 21 blissful years to the mother of my 5 children ...
I can unequivicably state that being a mother is at least a 70% jump on the politics of human knowledge and governance.
Countdown to accusations regarding her endorsing McCain
5..4..3..2
sarah is the REAL DEAL
ping
That deserves an Amen.
Amen.
Nice post
Sarah Palin, the only Conservative who can beat Obama
Nobody comes close to Palin when it comes to boldness, and sticking it to the progressivist fascists.
Even some with an R by their name.
AWESOME POST!! She also endorsed Sean Duffy this week and told everyone on her facebook page to assist in his money bomb. Duffy is a classy guy, Conservative, great pick. Sarah has made good choices, she chose not to go to CPAC(Turned out to be the right decision) and one of the few on the right who are NOT afraid to go after Obama and his cronies. Sarah has my vote if she chooses to run. She scares the left like no other
Beautifully stated!
A leader leads...others get out of the way or get trampled.
Then what can we do to stop them from running DoleMcLameJindal? Ya know it's coming.
She reminds me of what Mencken said about Nietzsche, “Here is not the rapier wit of Voltaire. Here is the warrior, armed and armored in steel.”
She got my vote in the last Mr America Pageant.
I sure didn't vote for Juan!
The primaries will sort it out.
The back benchers can run but won’t win
Palin deserves a lot of credit for torpedoing Health Care. That she did it from facebook is pretty amazing. Sarah can be the nominee if she manages to do a couple of things.
She needs to take her big picture approach produce a plan based on first principles for governing. She should get out in front of the pack.
She also needs to learn how to be more confident in discussions with individuals like Bill Oreilly. I love Sarah and I understand how she has been totally ripped apart but she really needs to learn how to dismantle her opponents with charm. I think she will.
I’m voting for her regardless because there is no one I can vote for. I’m not going to vote for Ron Paul. I’m not going to vote for Mitt Romney or Huckabee. If Jim Demint or some other strong conservative would decide to run I might very well change my mind but until a real reformer/outsider runs who isn’t nutty Sarah has my vote if she runs. They don’t want her because they don’t own her. They tried to use her as a show pony and nearly destroyed her.
Me either. If she hadn’t been on the ticket, I would have stayed home. She is the ONLY reason why I voted for McCain, and she is the only reason why I contributed to him during the campaign. I had never donated money to a campaign before, but when she came on the ticket, I donated
Duncan Hunter (R-CA) - His son serves, he also served as an Army Ranger.
Hunter/Palen 2012!
Great post.
The way the left, media, and other malcontents react to her tells you she’s the one. They lose it over her.
Palin/DeMint would mop the floor with any challenger.
She IS bold ... I’ll give her that!
Palin will rise to the occasion.
The question is: will America?
I admit, I am not as angry with Obama as I am with those who put him into office and bought into all that hopey changey stuff.
Prayers for 2012.
Palin is all up into the Whitehouse dwellers psyche.... Gibbs goes out of his way to crack jokes about her. They KNOW she is a prime contender.
Yep, she rents space in their mind rent free. They go to sleep and wake up thinking about SARAH! That’s fear reacting to POWER!
You know it!
Perfect. Your post represents much time and careful thought. Bravo to you.
The Democrats have already shown us again and again through their persistent irrational attacks that Sarah is the one they fear the most. She gets a hundred times the negative coverage than the nearest competitor from the liberal media, SNL Comedians, newspaper columnists, and liberal web sites. That is enough to convince me that she is the one we have been waiting for. ; )
I think it is great that she is getting practice sparring with the big media lame brains. I think she will be perfecting her media savy over the next couple of years. I can't wait to see her debating a teleprompter-less Obama in a presidential debate. Actually I doubt whether he will even be willing to do it. It would be like Lord Monckton vs Al Gore debating Al Gore on Global Warming, a slaughter.
I supported Duncan Hunter in 2008 and I think he is a great American. But, the simple fact is that he tried running in 2008 primaries and never received more than 2% of the vote. In Michigan he ran behind “undecided.”
To be successful in national politics, you need charisma. Unfortunately, Hunter has little.
PALIN ENDORSEMENT IN WISCONSIN’S 7th CD (Obey seat)
A WARNING TO UPSTARTS
On the eve of the 1st anniversary of the passing of the stimulus package. Sarah Palin announced to her followers in My Face to do a flash funding for Sean Duffy a mediocre candidate supported by the regular GOP who was facing a stiff challange from a conservative Dan Mielke with an endorsement from the Constitution Party. Mielke ran in 08 against Obey getting a respectable result as a Republican, and would run as a Republican in the July 13th Republican primary.
Lawyer Sean Duffy , has been DA (R) of Ashland county Wisconsin since 2002 and for his 8 years in office, possess what appears to be a go-along get -along record of prosecutions in a Democratic area,
In 2004 Duffy ,an actor, who also claims to be a lumberjack, sparked a contraversy (while DA) when he produced a video prototype promo to sell to a natl tv show ( He and his wife had feature roles on MTV during the late 90’s. ) doing a skit of a swinging homosexual wedding that family members participated in. Which ..(Was it because of bad acting ?) ..MTV rejected. The video then wound up on You Tube but has since been “axed “ .
As governor Doyles and the democrat/ socialists generally including congressional members poll numbers began to plunge Duffy, urged by some in the WI GOP Old Guard, announced his candidacy.
Duffy is being opposed by Dan Mielke a Wisconsin agri-businessman who ran against Obey in 08 with very limited funding and no backing from the GOP, While expectantly losing it, reached that all important 40%. This in a district which carried Obama in the high 50s%. Mielke’s hard campaigning caused Obey to draw much less votes than Obama during a democrat/ later to prove to be to the unaware and trusting voter, a socialist landslide.
When Mielke decided to try again, while not an ideolog but does have strong opinions about the constitutional usurping being done by members of both parties, also secured the endorsement of the Constition Party while running as a Republican. This miffed the Wisconsin Republican Party “in crowd”.
Mielke began in earnest and his polling numbers showed despite Duffy’s endorsement from the establishment Mielke was polling ahead of Duffy.
When told of the Palin endorsement Mielke reportedly replied; ...With all the strange endorsements and stuff Palin has been doing recently, I guess her excuse was she didnt like my beard because my opponent thought it an issue.
What is peculiar about the Palin endorsement is that while the GOP seems to urging conservatives not to go into a third party mode but enter the Republican primary , which I personally agree with. Here is a candidate who is a Republican which choose to do so and gets hammered by of all people, a powerful conservative leader. Its a bad message to send..
For either candidate will beat Obey ....
Before FRs all jump into this one theyd better take a look at the other guy

Horsesh*t. Pay attention spanky.
Why Duncan Hunter is the Man for POTUS, Part 1
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2447661/posts
Sounds like Palin is backing the wrong horse, yet again.
If you were a voter who would you vote for?

Dan Mielke?
Sean Duffy?
He lost by 22 points, I don't think that I would back him for a rematch either.
There isn't a single other Republican, elected or not, who can draw a bigger crowd, or generate as much enthusiasm for our cause, as she can. This is an indisputable fact.
That fact translates to support, which translates to votes. We can look at all the un-official polls we want, and try to divine the 2012 race in all sort of various ways, but simply stepping back and observing the obvious is probably the surest indicator of what and who the American people want.
Using reality as our guide, there is just no question who the American people have chosen to be the 45th president of the United States.
I have absolutely no idea what motivates so-called conservatives to opposes Governor Palin, or to attack her, outright. She clearly stands for all of our traditional American principles - the very principles that have stood the test of time, and which made America the greatest nation the world has ever known. The same principles that we conservatives are trying to conserve.
She has also proven her capabilities and fitness for office with actual deeds. Her track record in public life is one of real accomplishment - all of it toward the purpose of doing what's best for those who trusted her to represent them.
Sarah Palin simply frightens some people because she's so real, and so clearly focused in the right direction. That she frightens the left, is entirely understandable. She will certainly do more to roll back their destructive Marxist agenda than perhaps any other contender for the presidency.
But why she frightens some so-called conservatives, is puzzling. Frankly, I'm suspicious of anyone on our side who expresses disdain for her.
Great Thread!!!!
I’m 57 Years old. I have been conservative since I made the mistake of voting for Jimmy Carter, He was supposed to be a Born Again Christian. He never looked to the Bible. He was pro-abortion. His policies were anti-Israel and also anti-American. We the people were to blame for the bad economy. He didn’t have the guts to go get our hostages out of Iran and he is the reason the people of Iran are still in bondage.
I will say, right now is the worst economy in my life time, So Jimmy Carter is now off the hook.
Then came President Reagan... What a great man! The best President since Abe Lincoln.
Reagan had to fight the press, but nothing like what Sarah Palin has had to put up with.
There is not a man out there that says it like it is like Palin.
In the Bible God used Esther, a women, to save Israel.
The is not a Man out there in the Republican Party that Is MORE BOLD, MORE OF A LEADER and MORE OF A MAN ... then our SARAH.
In her time She is the most hated Republican which she also has in common with President Reagan.
When I say I love Sarah Palin I mean I love her America as I loved Reagan’s America.
I tell you this, there are a lot of Americans that would go to hell and back for her. I hope to live long enough to call her Commander in Chief.
The straw Poll at the GOP precinct caucus I went to last Saturday had Palin as the far away leader, with Romney and Huckabee tied for a distant second place, and they were followed by a number of other candidates, some familiar and some I don’t know. And contrary to the CPAC poll Ron Paul was on the bottom with only 2 votes. And I would not worry about Romney and Huckabee being second. This far out its all about name recognition. New names could rise to the surface as we get into the debates.
