Arnold has "come out of the closet" on the Stimulus Bill, lied like a rug about jobs created, and disparaged the tea party activists. He is basically through as the governor of California. Do FReepers think he will bolt (a la Arlen Specter) for the Democratic dark side?

I remember his rationale for running for governor in the special election: his claims that he hated the socialism in his native Austria and the damage it caused; his arguments that he could be socially liberal and focus on shrinking the monstrosity that the California government had become. . . . . .

Plus he is totally irrelevant. Specter gave the Democrats the 60-vote super majority, Schwarzenegger can join the Democrats any day, and it will be a big yawn. Wouldn't matter one bit.
