Chimpanzees are intelligent enough to appreciate how big a pint of liquid is, or the volume of any other measure.
That shows they have an ability to gauge the difference between continuous quantities, such as a pint or half pint of non-alcoholic fruit juice.
Previously, apes have only been known to differentiate discrete quantities, such as eight sweets over five.
That means chimps are more intelligent than we thought, and shows they have a basic grasp of the physics of liquids.
Details of the discovery are published in the journal Animal Cognition.

Oh, man, I really want to say it, yet I’d be labeled something I’m not and banned forever from FR.
How soon do you suppose it will be before they get the vote?
In fact, according to Valerie Jarret, part of the burden of being so bright is that they immediately recognize their mistakes.

Well considered what's voting now I sure wouldn't be against it. ;-)

Opps

So finally chimps have been proven as smart as the President.
There is a journal for that? What we really need is a Journal of Congressional Cognition. We need to document how many congresscritters actually recognize the Constitution of the United States.
For example:
Which of the following are the first words of the Constitution:
1. When in the course of human events
2. Four score and twenty years ago
3. We the people
Would love to see how many get it right.
” shows they have a basic grasp of the physics of liquids.”
Or maybe the larger amount of fruit juice smelled stronger.
Maybe it’s smell , not physics .
“”That means chimps are more intelligent than we thought, and shows they have a basic grasp of the physics of liquids. “

Which, in fact, simply proves the fact that they will never get the vote.
(Chimps are simply too intelligent to reliably vote democratic ///)
Quoted ping!
I always knew democrats were a bit smarter than they let on...

Expect to see this line printed more and more often. The day is coming when they'll tell you they are as smart as a human. They've already persuaded a lot of people that dolphins are as smart as a five year old human. There's an agenda behind all this monkey business.
