All they looked at was the cities with the highest liberal to conservative ratios and then decided that they MUST be smarter since they understood the “nuances of hope and change”. Whereas we slope brow conservative Neanderthals need a pamphlet to have Obooger’s wonderful plan explained in simple terms and bright pictures.

“7. Seattle-Tacoma”

In this bastion of liberalism, how does one define “smart”? Because these people vote for folks like Jim McDermott. You cannot be “smart” and vote for him at the same time, can you?

Only until you remember they view themselves as our moral & intellectual superiors. In that light this ‘poll’ makes perfect sense. LOL...liberals

Batlimore is home to Johns Hopkins (University, Medical Center, Physics Research Center, etc) a UofM campus and half a dozen other colleges, with a relatively small population. This probably causes the PHD-MD to pop. ratio to be higher than expected. It may even exceed the murder rate.

Not knowing what criteria they used... I am suprised that DC didn’t rank higher.

Couple of years ago I heard a radio interview with Alex Trabec of Jeopardy fame. (interesting fellow) He mentioned that there was an “entrance exam” to be a contestant on the show and that applicants from the DC passed at twice the national average. ( they may lack sense, but they are smart)

I have a friend who retired as an Oakland police officer ... he says the term the police officers use for Oakland citizens of color is “Oakland Democrats”

He mentioned that there was an “entrance exam” Yes there is ... I was there and I have taken the test.

It has questions on it like name Santa's reindeer and what is written on the tails side of a penny

Jack London Square in Oakland is OK.

Everything else, not so much. And, you don't want to cross the street from the square.

In today’s day and age one merely asserts knowing that people rarely check the evidence underlying the assertion. Such conduct is part of “The Big Lie” technique.
