Many years ago we were walking home for a late night school event and got pulled over by the cops, criminal walking.

Cop: Who are you? (Directed at my Cousin.)

Answer: Tom Sawyer.

Cop: And I suppose that you are Huckleberry Finn, directd at me.

ID, I really don’t remember, almost 50 years ago. Cops in those days didn’t bother you all that much but they wanted you to know that they were looking.

One of the interesting things that I like about NH is the lack of Civil Service, as such.

If the Cops piss you off, in the towns anyway, submit an article for the town meeting, and get your voters out, and don't fund them, ten signatures. and the vote.

There is nothing in our Constitution requiring a police force. Happens occasionally, keeps everyone honest

Curious, I searched the name and found a teenager in California was a noted high school basketball player.

Benefit of that name is he always knew how they'd tease him.

He should have changed his name to Tommy Gunn.
