My son and I spent some pleasant hours shooting my 1941 Finn VKT M39 Mosin-Nagant rifle today. We talked about how Finnish soldiers equipped with that very rifle engaged their Soviet enemies during World War II.
It was a pleasant outing, and the history come alive made it more so.
