I remember when Ben first started playing, he used to wear an armband with the initials “PFJ”—Playing for Jesus.

I guess the pro sports environment has changed him.

He has a house in a golf-course community about 30 miles away.

“This guy may be a rapist.”

You might want to read this before you accuse...

In an affidavit obtained by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, on August 8, 2009 states that the alleged victim Andrea McNulty allegedly bragged to a co-worker, Angela Antonetti, about having consensual sex with Roethlisberger.

In a sworn statement, the woman said McNulty did not appear to be upset about the incident. Antonetti went on to say McNulty expressed the possibility of being pregnant and she was hoping for “a little Roethlisberger.”

Moreover, Antonetti said, the woman asked her to travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in August 2008 for a Steelers’ game and to try to “run into” Roethlisberger. Antonetti told her that she shouldn’t try to chase Roethlisberger.

Antonetti said she was “absolutely shocked” on July 21 when she heard on the radio that the woman had claimed Roethlisberger had assaulted her “because I knew [her] allegation ....was false.

Its a curse.

Of course, Ben being stoopid doesn’t help.

Everywhere he goes he is mobbed..he goes to a local Home Depot in the Burg and within 10 minutes hundreds of people are hunting him down. he is a yong kids with lots to learn like a lot of us at that age..I will wait to see...there are women trying to find him and get some of the pie...he needs to buy an Island and stay away from broads for now...till the smoke clears... Now if he did it he will have to pay the price!

“Really? Roethlisberger lives in Milledgeville, GA?”

The story I read said he did. I couldn’t find the article again, but I did just find another one that said he has a lakehouse 30 miles south of Milledgeville, GA.

I am making no accusation. In fact, I am pretty much giving him th benefit of the doubt and chalking it up to stupidity.

Hi Greg...I read (elsewhere) that, like many celebs, Ben needes a ‘handler’ a ‘celebrity rangler.’ Someone who is always with him (obviously, could be multiple employees) but they are part bouncer/part ‘no’ man.

If Art Rooney, III was smart HE would hire someone and make it an addendum to Ben’s contract.

He's obviously playing for something else now...

"Is Ben married?"

No and if Tiger had not been married his problems would not have been magnified like they are. When are these atheletes going to learn? If you're going to be a "playa", don't get married!!!

I have watched too many shows on TV where the “rapist” was found to be innocent after spending 15 years or more in jail after DNA tests have found them innocent.

Just watched one two weeks ago on Dr. Phil..black man, white woman. She identified him as her attacker (he was walking down the street after it happened), the police picked him up, she insisted in court it was the rapist, and he spent 15 years in jail. DNA proved him innocent.

Both appeared on the show..it was pretty sad.

"Didn’t he recently face similar charges? I’m seeing a pattern."

I'm making no judgements on this case because there is not enough info out there yet. He could be guilty. However, the first charge has pretty much been shown to be totally bogus. It seems like it was conscensual sex and the woman comes out something like a year later and tries to cry rape. After having sex with Big Ben, the woman had sent text messages to her girlfriend bragging about having sex with him.

From what I've read he has a home there. However, he lives in Pittsburgh.

“A wife, in other words.”

You and I know this does not stop athletes and celebrities!

I’m a retired flight attendant, and our airline does a lot of sports team charters.

The stories I have heard...

Yeah, I hate the way men are treated in these he said/she said cases.

But, the bottom line is, this guy is an idiot for putting himself in bad positions. He needs to grow up and stop hanging out at college clubs.

"Police said the woman reported that she was "sexually assaulted or sexually manipulated" by a man she described as 6-foot-5 and 241 pounds. She did not name Roethlisberger"

When she made this statement was she reading from the back of his football card? How the heck would she know his exact height and weight???

Just about every article has her at 20 years old. What was she doing at a night club?

I'm told that in some states, under 21 can go to nightclubs selling alcohol and they have to wear a wristband showing they are under 21 so they can't order a drink.
