President Obama is coming to St. Louis on Wednesday to push his “angry mob unpopular” nationalized health care bill. But, you won’t get to see him. HE’S LOCKING THE DOORS ON THE ST. LOUIS PUBLIC.

President Obama and Missouri Democrats including Senator Claire McCaskill, Governor Jay Nixon and Russ and Robin Carnahan want to ram their toxic health care bill down your throat but THEY DON’T HAVE THE GUTS TO FACE THE PUBLIC!

Then it is aimed at the undecided Rats?

Exactly, article from Plum line covered the agenda of today's speech.

---One striking thing about the speech Obama just gave at the big health care rally in Pennsylvania is how many times he stressed that if reform passes, voters will begin enjoying the benefits this year.

---Though he didn’t say it directly, it’s an obvious effort to put some spine in wavering Congressional Dems by urging them to understand that they’ll have something to run on this year if they vote for reform. Here’s the key part:

----Obama’s message to Congressional Dems: If you vote for health reform, some of your own constituents will — this year — suddenly find themselves with insurance where they had none. Your own consistuents will not be dropped arbitrarily from coverage, even if they get sick. Some of your own constituents will suddenly enjoy free preventive care they didn’t have before. And you will be able to take credit for it.

---The flip side: Those Dems who vote against reform will have denied their own constituents all these things. That, at any rate, is Obama’s implicit message to Congressional Dems today.

Thanks for the info. In other words, regular, old fashioned arm twisting hasn’t worked?

This crap is driving me crazy.

me too

Glenn Beck is spending an hour tomorrow, covering the bullying tactics and bribes to try and pass this bill. His guest is Sen Massa who just resigned today. Should get interesting.

Um.. for whom does he work again??

I’m in NY-29, the place where Mr. Massa is from who Obama tried so hard to intimidate into to changing his No vote on DeathCare that he faced a choice of resigning or being kicked out of congress over a joke, disenfrachizing an entire district that is opposed to his health deform.

I don’t know about anyone else, but this hitting home in more ways than one and I’m pretty angry about it. Actually, angry isn’t the word for it... I AM LIVID!

Rightfully so. Why does Pelosi from San Fransisco get so much power over the voting representatives of the rest of the country. Rangel is not forced out but given multiple chances and year long investigations. Their constitutes are not more important or deserve elevation over any other voter.

I am livid too! There is a kill the bill rally in St.Paul, MN on Saturday. I’m trying to round up my conservative neighbor friends to attend and it’s like hitting my head against a brick wall. One couple has a marriage retreat, another gal is committed to a school rummage sale and the other friend is shopping for sinks for her new build home, contractor deadline. C’mon people! None of this other stuff will matter if this bill goes through. Argh!!!

Can ya tell I’m a just a little frustrated?

TRI CARE FOR LIFE This from a google search:

http://economicspolitics.blogspot.com/2009/05/tricare-for-life-is-obama-trying-to.html

This option would help reduce the costs of TFL, as well as costs for Medicare, by introducing minimum out-of pocket requirements for beneficiaries. Under this option, TFL would not cover any of the first $525 of an enrollee’s cost-sharing liabilities for calendar year 2011 and would limit coverage to 50 percent of the next $4,725 in Medicare cost sharing that the beneficiary incurred. (Because all further cost sharing would be covered by TFL, enrollees could not pay more than $2,888 in cost sharing in that year.) http://www.cbo.gov/ftpdocs/99xx/doc9925/12-18-HealthOptions.pdf

By Rick Maze - Staff writer, Oct 7, 2009

Tricare fee increases imposed last week by the Defense Department will be repealed by a provision of the compromise 2010 defense authorization bill unveiled Wednesday by House and Senate negotiators.

The fee increases were announced on Sept. 30 and took effect on Oct. 1, but the defense bill, HR 2647, includes a provision barring any fee increases until the start of fiscal 2011.

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Bill Matz, president of the National Association for Uniformed Services, said the announcement of fee increases was shocking considering that the Obama administration promised earlier this year to hold off on any new fee Tricare fee increases until fiscal 2011.

“President Obama and DoD assured NAUS and the entire military family earlier this year that there would rightly be no increases in any Tricare fees” in fiscal 2010, Matz said. “We took them at their word, and I can’t believe that a co-pay increase like this was allowed to go forward,” he added.

Why doesn't nobama just stand in front of a mirror and talk to him self? The only people who are (faking) listening are syncopates who hope he gives them some of his stash. He is the consummate community organizer. What a TOTAL, EPIC FAIL!

President Obama is coming to St. Louis on Wednesday

Thanks for the warning.

** Health Care Rally at St. Charles Convention Center (map, directions, parking) at 9:45 AM on Wednesday March 10, 2010.

Technically, that's not St. Louis. Well, at least traffic downtown will be normal.

The Second Protest planned by the St. Louis Tea Party Coalition is planned for 5:30 on Wednesday night downtown in St. Louis across from the Renaissance Grand hotel.

Hmmm, I can walk from the office, but can't stay long.

Check back here or at the St. Louis Tea Party Coalition website for more details. We are tentatively planning on meeting at 5:00 PM and are asking protesters to wear black.

I'm a musician. Definitely doable.

A phony crowd of supporters—that would be SEIU folks—likely some of the the same ones that beat up the conservative at the tea party in St. Louis during the summer.

But I wonder why. What is the purpose? It makes no sense for him to “preach to the choir”. Must be grasping at straws.

Well, on Gretta, I heard Rick Santorum theorize that dear leader is trying to get revved up crowds of democratic base to cheer and say they want health care so the House dems will not abandon the house socialist health care package. The shutout of regular folks in St. Louis would seem to be supporting Santorum’s theory.
