With only 11 weeks to go before the eagerly-awaited Sex And The City 2 movie, fans have been given a sneak peek of what to expect, The upcoming sequel is set two years after we last saw Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her friends and brings the girls out of their beloved New York on a trip of Morocco. Little has been given away about the plotline, but the film will definitely include a wedding and perhaps a baby for an unlikely mother.
Apparently happily married to husband Mr Big (Chris Noth), it is not known why Carrie decides to abandon him for a girlie trip to Marrakech with Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) and Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon).

She will marry Mr. Big and then a quick annulment when she discovers he really isn’t
I suppose it's too much too hope for that they get kidnapped by muzzie fundamentalists and sold as white slaves.
And is it true that SJP’s stand-in was Mr Ed?
Aren’t they getting a bit long in the tooth to be playing a
bunch of NYC party girls.
It's OK to have casual sex with rich, middle eastern Muslims.
Or perhaps someones gonna' have her a$$ BEAT in public.
I’ve never seen a ‘Sex In The City’ show before - but the “Morrocco” caught my eye.
When I was a kid, my dad was in the Air Force’s Strategic Air Command, and we spent my younger days on a couple of Air Force bases over in Morrocco.
Which is probably why I don’t look at as much TV as some, because no one had a TV there at the time (at least not on the Air Force bases), so it was all radio, reading or doing things with the family.
I never really got into the habit of turning a TV on at a young age, I guess.
And is it true that SJPs stand-in was Mr Ed?
I’d heard it was Jon Cary in drag...
While her friends will be sold into slavery, the Sarah Jessica Parker character will be sold to a glue factory.
This one. I tried to watch the television series and didn’t like it. I thought that the SJP character was pretty pathetic and the poster child for the victim of her own bad choices. It’s amazing how many times I have said this to women and they are relieved they aren’t the only one to think this way.
Thanks for the post. I didn’t know that Smith returns for Samantha; this should make a nice sub plot.
I am ashamed to say I’ve actually seen an episode or two of this (there was a time it came on between Raymond and Seinfeld on TBS ... the remote was across the room, and laziness prevailed).
The story centered around four completely intolerable characters — the pathetic one, the pain-in-the-ass, the village bicycle, and the whiny “nice” one ... only one of which was remotely pretty enough to justify any nudity at all.
It was a bit like “Friends” without the likability or humor. Completely insufferable.

You gotta be kidding, right?? A sub plot? WOW, I will be bitting my nails on the edge of my Chase Lounge, sipping my Bud Light. PLEASE...please...no more information about this...I couldn’t bear to know the ending.

(Yes, they did spell "Moroccan" incorrectly.)
Morocco - good choice!
Muslim guys love American whores!
ROTFLOL!
Question: what does Sarah Jessica Parker put behind her ears to attract men?
Answer: her legs.
They do a HUGE amount of digital touchup, frame by frame.
When the last movie came out, it was amazing how great all the gals looked. Which was quite in contrast to their photos at the gala opening the movie. They can slim down their figures and clear up the skin pretty easily now.
WTH? A woman going on a trip with her girlfriends is "abandoning" her husband? What sexist tripe...what about deer hunting husbands? Are they somehow "abandoning" their wives? I don't see what is so wrong with a trip with your girlfriends (besides the fact that you guys would have to eat your own cooking). Just sayin'...
And that being said...for those of you not into this type of movie, simply don't go. Better yet...don't comment. I have found that the majority of those who criticized the show and now the movies have formed their opinions via hearsay rather than actual experience (which does not mean one episode or part of an episode) and therefore don't have a clue what the show or the relationships between these women are really about.
Finally, as for the "horse-face" comments some folks made about SJP, please post a picture of yourself on-line so we can judge your looks too ; )
Great post! Well said. :)
LOL!
I watched the show regularly on HBO when it was on, and found it mostly very entertaining. Some really excellent writing. True, it wasn’t as good as The Sopranos, but it was almost always fun, and often made me (almost) laugh out loud.
And I was curious enough about the first movie to go see it.
Does this mean I can’t be a Freeper anymore? Or a 60-year old white heterosexual man-cave living male, for that matter?
P.S.
