Let's see - didn't feel any bump or crash, didn't hear all the grinding and tire screeching, didn't see any sparks, or anything at all. Hmmm, "paybacks are a motherf*****."

The truck is a cab-over...he knows the car is there. The fourwheeler must have pissed him off.

Did you see the Simpson’s where Homer was truck driver?
To: rawhide
I saw an accident like this once right ahead of me; the truck stopped in an expeditious manner, and the folks in the car (VW Rabbit, if I recall correctly) seemed generally unharmed.
Probably needed a change of underwear, though.

Don’t forget, Renaults are the sorry, pathetic French excuse for a real auto; it’s understandable that a tractor-trailer driver might not even notice that he ran one over - after all, they run over tin cans all the time.

The question is did the 4-wheeler learn his lesson?
I see this type challenging the 18's everyday.

A trucker friend of ours had this very thing happen. The young lady tried to cut across in front of him too soon and clipped his front bumper spinning the car around in front of the truck. He had no idea that the car was even there until someone yelled at him on the CB. The little gal in the car was scared, but came through without a scrape.

Good old American heavy cars and trucks for me, even if I have to pay for high fuel.

The truck driver had a schedule to meet! My Dad drove semi's and now my brother does. This is not something either would do. Unbelievable.

My brother still drives semi. My Dad drove for years. Neither would do something like this. What if there were children in that vehicle? Again, we still don’t know the circumstances. And if this driver thinks what he did was reasonable, I hope he never drives truck again.

**A trucker friend of ours had this very thing happen.**
Having driven a cabover truck (but a little bigger) you will NOT see that car, the initial bump would feel like a pothole.
There are special brackets and mirrors needed to see that area.. they are not REQUIRED and are rather Expensive.
That having been said... it doesn’t matter what the car did or the condition of the driver... it will always be the TRUCKs FAULT. .. ALWAYS

I know what you are saying. Even in a cab-over you can't see over the dash. If you haven't driven a semi, you have NO CLUE! What gets me is when I'm in a car riding with someone who thinks that a semi should get over on a soft bern rather than the car. What they don't realize is that a soft shoulder can suck a semi over so fast that there is nothing you can do.
There are a lot of misconceptions out there about what semis can and can't do. Most of it is bunk.
