A Campaign Begins Today (Do you want Lord Cornwallis Leading us?)
National Review Online ^ | March 22, 2010 | Mitt Romney

Posted on 03/22/2010 6:38:52 AM PDT by C19fan

America has just witnessed an unconscionable abuse of power. President Obama has betrayed his oath to the nation — rather than bringing us together, ushering in a new kind of politics, and rising above raw partisanship, he has succumbed to the lowest denominator of incumbent power: justifying the means by extolling the ends. He promised better; we deserved better.

Willard writes: His health-care bill is unhealthy for America. It raises taxes, slashes the more private side of Medicare, installs price controls, and puts a new federal bureaucracy in charge of health care. It will create a new entitlement even as the ones we already have are bankrupt.

Sounds like RomneyCare in Massachusetts. Willard has no shame.

Arnold was a patriot who went to the dark side. Romney was always on the dark side he just pretends to be one of us.

Nominating McCain in 2008 made it impossible for the GOP to run against shamnesty that year, probably the most potent campaign issue they had.

Nominating Mitt in 2012 would make it impossible for the GOP to run against Health Care Deform, as Mitt did just that on a state level.

Go away, Mitt. The GOP doesn't need another shot in the foot, wheras a real conservative like Palin or Barbour would give the GOP a shot in the arm.

Sounds good, doesn't it? Too bad it means absolutely nothing.

Arnold was a patriot who went to the dark side.

His second marriage was to a Tory and she turned him. Crude jokes about "made of gold" come to mind.

I’ve been liking Pence more every time I’ve heard him lately. I hadn’t paid much attention to him before. Even Boehner sounded good last night.

Mitt is a snake in the grass who only looks out for himself. He flips his positions at will on core issues. Were Obamacare popular he’d be leading the charge for it.

FOX has been shoving Mitt in our faces a lot lately. And I noticed that someone on FNC will be having Jeb Bush on tonight. I am sick of their RINO pushing.

I used to like Barbour, but I am pretty sure he is in the shamnesty crowd.

I'm always annoyed when the Left calls Fox "conservative". It isn't. Fox does not like conservative extremists like myself. They tolerate leftwing extremists with no trouble. And they adore Liberals like Romney, Bush and Gingrich.

I rarely watch Fox, because I disagree with well over half of what I hear from them.

FOX has been shoving Mitt in our faces a lot lately.

Drudge is highlighting this particular story today as well. Folks need to keep in mind that Drudge will be pushing Romney now that Matt Rhoades is back on board with Team Romney:

Rhoades, who's moving to Boston, is a well-regarded guy whose return to Romney pretty much confirms what will surprise nobody: That he's running in 2012. He's also, incidentally, been valued for his relationship with a key player in any GOP primary, Matt Drudge.

Today, the Anniversary of the STAMP ACT
And the imposition of ROMNEYCARE+ nationally is not just any day.

TODAY IS WILLARD MITT ROMNEYCARE's DAY.
ROMNEYCARE IS OBAMACARE.

Go Mitt go Mitt go.

It isn't how you start, it is how you finish. Arnold sold out his honor, he deserves reproach.

Cornwallis was an Old Whig from the same faction as Edmund Burke. He was probably a better supporter of the founding principles of this Republic than Romney.

Mittens claim that Slick Willard supports RomneyCare for MA but not for other states. He is a states rights kind of guy, they claim. If you disagree with Slick Willard’s conclusions, then you must hate Mormons.
