Daily driver so I got the V6, yeah yeah I know. I am too old to race now! I am a respectable man about town...
LT2 RS package added, no stripes Rally Yellow. Pretty much a loaded V6 missing only stripes, ground effects and sunroof. If I got the sunroof my 6’1” head would scrape the roof! It lowers the roof by almost 2 inches.
I test drove the v8 yesterday here in Phoenix...they sent me home w/ the order/features book...BTW drove both the stick and auto / paddles......stick all day for me....so gonna order one myself when I’m up to speed on options...

You got it, It aint driving unless your shifting. Most LT2s have automatic trannies in em cause they assume all enthusiasts will get the V8 SS and young wannabes will get the 6 cylinder
I am a middle aged enthusiast who is happy to get rid of my 14 mpg in my Jeep Wrangler haha. The Camaro will get 28, so I am upgrading!
A friend of mine is trying to sell my wife his 2005 CTS-V Cad with the Vette engine and the 6 speed manual trans. It only has 9000 miles on it. He bought the new CTS-V with the 550 HP supercharged Cad engine and automatic because he could not find find a 6 speed on the west coast. We really want a Buick LaCrosse but am afraid to spend the money with the economy in the tank and sinking.
I would have a stroke if I went to a Barrett-Jackson auction.
