CAIRO -- Archaeologists have unearthed a 3,500-year-old door to the afterlife from the tomb of a high-ranking Egyptian official near Karnak temple in Luxor, the Egyptian antiquities authority said Monday.
These recessed niches found in nearly all ancient Egyptian tombs were meant to take the spirits of the dead to and from the afterworld. The nearly six-foot- tall slab of pink granite was covered with religious texts.

I find it interesting that women ruled this region before Muslems took over.
The nearly six-foot- tall slab of pink granite was covered with religious texts.
So how exactly does a dead guy open a granite door? Sorry, couldn’t resist. I’ve been to the temple of karnack at Luxor. Amazing!
Contrary to the Feminist movement devotees, women have held high positions of power in every era and epoch.
They found the door from the tomb of "Newbie", but it was all wrong and stupid.

A-w-w-w, go easy on em’ DannyTN! (I’m giggling, though...you made me laugh)
this one ruled as a he-she. She was a “man” baby, at least she dressed and acted like one. She was a King, not a Queen
And then she went and forgot to close the door to hell-
Who you gonna call?
Where are the 72 virgins that are supposed to be waiting on the other side?
So where do you think Nancy Pelosi will want her pyramid constructed at tax payers’ expense?
At this moment, I am so glad that I am not a man having to face THAT as a reward on the other side.
I like the version of this they used in Dr. Phibes Rises Again (1972).
Get a copy of LSâs book, âThe Patriots History of the United Statesâ, to go with it. Good reading!Available at WALMART, buy several and pass them around.
Deborah (Judge of Israel)
Elanor of Aquitaine
Catherine the Great
You forgot Zenobia of Palmyra
Cleopatra, Ceasar, Marc Antony.
Eleanor of Aquitaine, Two time looser.
Victoria I, Figure head.
Empress Theodora, hear say, possibly a spine stiffener during the Nika Riots, Procopus is a doubtful commentator.</p.
But how are they detrimental to mankind?
The influence that they put forth was the same as the town pump, I am me, come and worship.
History is the story of Kings and Wars, not T&A, which seemed to be detrimental to the advancement of civilization, even Queen Maude reminds me of my dear ex, never accomplished anything.
No, lol. From time to time I do see a REAL picture from the Pyramids of a person coming through what is clearly a gate. It is shaped more like the doors we have today than anything Egyptian. It is a recent discovery that was found after the book Stargate was written. I keep looking for a still shot of it but so far only video. Oh and the person coming through has a classic head of a god from the Egyptian period. I have written the Egyptian Museum asking for a picture but I have not heard back.
Catherine the Great did nothing of note? Deborah of Israel did nothing of note?
Bring up the terms “T&A” shows the respect you have for women in general and the crude and crass nature that you have developed for yourself.
I have learned more than enough about you and your views.
Shame on you.
I guess the stone was raised to mark the fall of the house of User??
I used to watch Wonder Woman, mainly for the T&A, with my kids but having spent a couple of tours in Viet Nam as an Infantry NCO, I was amused, A, 2/35 Inf, D, 3/4 Cav, 25 Infantry Division, I was amused that mommy was always right.
I have always supported the Roman Solution in Forign Wars. As as far as I can see manipulation not direction is woman role in Strategy.

I’m a little put off that the afterlife is Art Deco.

Keep the freakin’ thing closed!
Good thing Mohammed wasn’t a woman or the Middle East would be a mess.
It’s all straight and orderly now?
