Probably, since a story about a priest with a foster son he's pimping out and using for child pornography would be even more lurid than this one. Of course, the priest would still be gay, so I'm not sure what your point is.

I just realized - this guy didn’t “get” 27 years - this is what the DA recommended that he get.

Read it again. He was sentenced to 27 years. Sentencing guidelines are 15 to 30, the DA recommended the max. The judge gave him 27, plus lifetime probation. And since there's no parole in the federal system, he'll serve the whole 27. He'll be 70 when he gets out, assuming he lives that long.

As the birth mother of a son, placed for adoption over 20 years ago, I find this story sickening. More effort must go into screening individuals seeking to adopt! Now that I have been reunited with my son, I can say the screening process wasn't perfect and I expected more from the agency (large, old and well known organization, not fly by night or lawyer). Fortunately, my son is a happy, healthy, productive adult.

These are children, not puppies being adopted from a shelter. This must not be allowed to continue!

I'm not ready to say either way on that. All I know is my personal experience. Over the years I've known several gay men well, one has been a dear friend for over 30 years. Any one of them would tell you they are much too self-centered to be a parent! I watch as they buy all the new gadgets, take great vacations and live in nice places.. no dependants and that's the way they like it!!

OK - I stand corrected. Guy should invest in a large supply of soap on a rope - he’s going to need it. I wonder if he gets minimum, medium or max security. I.E. how hard his “hard time” is going to be.

Seriously, the guy is probably not going to be classified as a dangerous prisoner or an escape risk, and being around dangerous prisoners will probably get the guy killed. Not that he doesn’t deserve it, but the Bureau of Prisons frowns on that sort of thing. My guess is that he’ll go to a minimum security federal prison camp. I could be wrong, though. In either case, he’ll be there until he’s an old man.

True that. Dont disagree at all that homosexuals shouldnt adopt. Children dont exist to be a rung on the social ladder and the fact that so many homosexuals see adoption as their way of 'being normal' I am sickened as well.

It's a shame and a crime that child molesters do not receive the death penalty. "Mercy to the cruel, is cruelty to the innocent". And the fact is that a much, much higher percentage of homosexuals molest children than the general population.

That must be the picture of Evil. He’ll be out of prison by age 70... At the very least, he should’ve been sentenced to life with no parole. Then again, this may be a death sentence when the other prisoners find out who he is and what he did.
