The Laysan albatross is a downy seabird with a seven-foot wingspan and a notched, pale yellow beak. Every November, a small colony of albatrosses assembles at a place called Kaena Point, overlooking the Pacific at the foot of a volcanic range, on the northwestern tip of Oahu, Hawaii. Each bird has spent the past six months in solitude, ranging over open water as far north as Alaska, and has come back to the breeding ground to reunite with its mate. Albatrosses can live to be 60 or 70 years old and typically mate with the same bird every year, for life. Their divorce rate, as biologists term it, is among the lowest of any bird.
When I visited Kaena Point in November, the first birds were just returning, and they spent a lot of their time gliding and jackknifing in the wind a few feet overhead or plopped like cushions in the sand. There are about 120 breeding albatrosses in the colony, and gradually, each will arrive and feel out the crowd for the one other particular albatross it has been waiting to have sex with again. At any given moment in the days before Thanksgiving, some birds may be just turning up while others sit there killing time. It feels like an airport baggage-claim area.
Once together, pairs will copulate and collaboratively incubate a single egg for 65 days. They take shifts: one bird has to sit at the nest while the other flaps off to fish and eat for weeks at a time. Couples preen each others feathers and engage in elaborate mating behaviors and displays. Like when youre in a couple, Marlene Zuk, a biologist who has visited the colony, explained to me.

My dog really likes his pillow, if you catch my drift. What’s the slang term for that lifestyle?
Perhaps the most relevant statement in this article.
Life is tough without opposable thumbs.
Aren’t there gay bonobos?
Yes, just watch a dog, a male dog will hump anyone or anything. Frogs do too. No big deal.
My cat loves blankets, if you catch my drift
So what’s the lifestyle? He’s fuzzy?
If I was a chick I’d be gay for both of them.
.Hes all white with long fur and blue eye...easily passes for a foxy babe cat...

Sounds like he(?) may be a bi-cross dresser? Can’t be any doubt about ‘Pretty Boy’ though.
Then again, we aren’t supposed to profile.
That girl needs some meat on those bones. She is cute, though.
At least with cattle, it’s recognized as a treatable disorder.
I used to have two Boston Terriers. Brothers. One was big and boisterous and all boy. The other was a skinny, prancing, flaming, d!ck l!ck!ng homosexual dog fagot. And he tried to hump anything whenever he had the chance - even his own brother. He was a perv, even by dog standards.
The Cat’s dog as well as its cats are into bestiality and happy!
Only the NYT would take up space with this garbage to try and justify what is perverted and unnatural. NO, it is NOT normal for HUMANS or ANIMALS to be “gay”.
Common sense proves the parts just don’t fit and procreation would be hindered ... ..
The NYT is RUN by a bunch of “gays” in upper management.
“Now let me tell you something, Streebeck. There are two things that clearly differentiate the human species from animals. One, we use cutlery. Two, we’re capable of controlling our sexual urges. Now, you might be an exception, but don’t drag me down into your private Hell.”

Oslo Natural History Museum Opens Homosexual Animal Exhibit
October 19, 2006 The Natural History Museum in Oslo, Norway, has just opened up an exhibit supposedly showing various examples of homosexual animals. The leader of this exhibit, Against Nature is Geir Soeli who told reporters, Homosexuality has been observed for more than 1500 animal species, and is well documented for 500 of them. Soeli claims: The sexual urge is strong in all animals Its a part of life, its fun to have sex. A statement at the exhibit says: We may have opinions on a lot of things, but one thing is clear homosexuality is found throughout the animal kingdom, it is not against nature.
One commenter on the conservative Free Republic web site scoffed at the idea that homosexuality should be considered normal if animals engage in sodomy. He noted how unwise it is to justify homosexuality for humans simply because such activities may be practiced by animals.
He wrote: Animals engage in the following:
Kill and eat members of their species, that is, they are often cannibals;
Kill and eat some of their offspring, that is, they commit cannibalistic infanticide;
Compete with other males for the opportunity to have sex with a particular female, often killing or debilitating the rival;
Fight with and exile or kill the ‘owner’ of a ‘harem,’ kill his ‘children,’ and then raise other children with the females in the harem (the females show no ‘loyalty’ to their former husband’ and blithely have sex with the new guy).
Discriminate against and kill aliens’ to their particular territory or tribe;
Often have sex with some of their offspring;
Often have sex with relatives and near-relatives (from a human perspective, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, grandparents, etc.), in other words, they commit incest;
Let the males just about always get their way (e.g., eat first, win any spats),
Often allow large groups of males to have sex with a female, even leaving her near-dead or even dead, that is, they engage in ‘gang rape;’ and
Often allow one male to hog all the females in a given area, driving away his ‘sons’ and his ‘friends’ who would like a little sexual ‘pleasure’ with the ‘girls.’
If we arbitrarily pick which animal behaviors to value, then any such study from which we get insights for human behavior is a complete waste of time.
The Animal Homosexuality Myth, published by the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH) debunks the claim that homosexual animals truly exist. Author Luiz Sergi Solimeo notes: If seemingly homosexual acts among animals are in accordance with animal nature, then parental killing of offspring and intra-species devouring are also in accordance with animal nature. Bring man into the equation complicates things further. Are we to conclude that filicide and cannibalism are according to human nature.
Do these animals like Judy Garland?
